Whatsup yall...like the title says, this was my first go around. i am about 4-10 days away from harvesting (i think). i would like advice from you fine educated folk.
first some details:
strain: unknown, supposed to be trainwreck, but i doubt it.
grown in soil
grown from seed
using 400W HPS w/cool tube
been flowering for about 55-56 days. veg'd for about 10 weeks.
first off...i have a few pics and would like to know what you guys think. how close/or far am i actually from harvesting.
also this is really wierd but....
THEY DONT SMELL AT ALL.
i know some people would love to be able to avoid the smell and spend tons of money on carbon filters and ionizers, but these two girls dont smell. they look pretty good to me. im an avid smoker and know what good bud looks, smells, and tastes like. and for the life of me i cant figure out why there is literally no smell. just a planty smell.
so basically i wanna know why my two girls dont stink. do they start to smell more during the drying and/or curing process. will they not taste good if they dont smell good (since taste and smell are very closely related) should i be adding anything to the water in these last week (ive heard people use lemon or orange extract in the water to add a citrus-type of scent and flavor. im kinda wanted to avoid anything. also, ive been using organic nutes and stopped about 8-9 days ago and started with ph balanced water.
