Hey Bic, yea it being mobile is def. a plus! i have have all my nutrients and Ph stuff hidin! and my res. will be able to come in and out! as far as air flow i think both fans is a little bit excessive for the air that they are pushing and only having a cfl set-up but hopefully very soon i am going to upgrade to a 150w HPS and it will be perfect for getting the heat out:hump:

I owe allot to it is a well really expanded my knowledge on how many different styles of styles of growing there are its crazy
hahaha yeah everyone seems to love the cool hood for cfl reltive cost less than 5 bucks nothin but metal tape and this highly reflective insulation about a 1/4 of an inch thick i copted from homedepot for for 10 bucks a roll and did most the dresser with.
read you were gettin a 150 for that bad ass box! if you do spend the few extra bucks and get a cool tube there beyond helpful for these small boxes
 
you can make your own cool tube easily and for cheap. go to the diy thread under general marijuana growing. there are several threads about how to do this.

i looked up the cool tube but im just worried about heat issues in my cab with that light set-up! and i am looking at light to foilage distance im already space limited and i know the HPS will push far more growth!

i think it shall run pretty cool ill let you know for sure in about two weeks when mine goes in so you have some proof and what not to look at. itll easily give you the best chance at big yields the other route is is like 8 rows of t5's that would work very well with your height issue plus give you equal coverage

Just read your whole thread, suprised no one has asked this yet... maybe im just blazed and missed it hahaha.

But what are the dimensions of your box? Does it lock?


As far as the 150w hps man, honestly i just say hold out, that light is probably gonna get to hot in their, Plus once you can get a bigger box, maybe a wardrobe or something you are going to want a 400w or 600w i guarantee it! Even if you cooltube your hps you are gonna have to probably buy louder stronger fans.

Good idea with the aquarium man, i have a turtle that helps me the same way...

you can also get a 70 w hps bulb plus a few cfl's if needs be. i've got a 125w cft blue. 2 or 3 of those would fit real nice in your stealth mobile lol

yo Micheal Phelps! thanks for the postive words my friend :joint:! my dimensions are 30"H 28"W and 15"D and it does lock somewhat i guess that is what you would call it :confused: on the right hand side there is two holes drilled in the side, and into the door! one up top and one down low. And i just slide 2 steel rods, one in each spot that slide inside the box and i use a magnet to pull the rods out so the door will open:hump: i should also describe my door it is the shelves screwed onto a 1/4" piece of wood and thats where the rods slide into not the shelf faces themselves! if that makes since! ha

Nice man, thats def good size for a small little op like yourself, oh and dude thats a sweet idea for the lock man! My wardrobe just has a fuckin pad lock on it hahaha... Not suspicious at all right?

But that mini dwc looks good man, IMO hydro is the way to go, the growth is just so much faster and its not bad maintaining the ph, i just check before i go to bed and when i wake up in the morning.

Also id recommend getting an extra PH meter cause so far i have had two fuckin break and it could have potentially killed my grow, my ph was at like 9+ before i realized my meter was broken.

Also anymore thought on the HPS?
 
yea man i def. gotta get a good pH tester! and as far as the HPS i think im gonna hold off a while till i get a few grows under my belt before i upgrade! i just got so many obstacles right now i dont need to add potential heat issues and burning the plant to my list! haha thanks for the positive words Mike it really gets me motivated

Word man i honestly thing thats a good idea with the hps, especially cause you really will want a bigger light then 150w when you get a bigger box.

Glad i can keep you motivated haha, its fun shit man!
 
Oh man, I am very excited about this grow. Very nice work. But I think you should cut another hole in there and grow two just to increase your chance of female. Just my two cents.

i def. feel ya connor im just nervous as this is my first dwc grow, im nervous about how much water intake the roots take in as far as a mature plant goes at least so im wanting to go one at a time to get my fingers dirty! or i guess i should say wet...:weed: ha def. feelin the love from everyone tho!:leaf:
 
I get what your saying. Why waste good seeds if you don't know exactly what your doing. We are all new at one point.
But yeah, everyone is loving your cab. Your gonna grow some strong healthy plants. I can already tell. ;)
