First HID Grow: Couple Bagseeds, Jock Horror

Well guys it's been some time since my last update so I figured I'd take a few pix and upload em. About a week ago I got my MH bulb back, it broke 2-3 weeks in the grow and I used my 400W HPS until I got the MH back. I am planning to veg for maybe one more week.
I've counted eight tops on the Pineapple Express and six on the White Rhino! I've still got to transplant Bagseed #2, I think it's begging for it (and some water lol).

Week two I'm giving my plants big bloom. The schedule calls for two tablespoons, I use two teaspoons and wait a few days to see if there is any burn, if not, I'll use this light solution for a week, every other watering and then I start increasing the strength gradually. I never use the amounts they recommend, I always go lighter with the nutes.

Have you started feeding yet? Just wondering. Your WR has some of the widest fan leaves i've ever seen.

Thanks for the nice comments peeps! I started feeding Grow Big a week or two ago. Been using 1/2 strength every watering. No burn signs yet.
And I agree with you completely about the fan leaves on that WR; they are frikken massive!

Thanks grow4joe, appreciate it! I decided to switch over to 12/12 a couple days ago, and the Jock Horror is already showing female preflowers! I'm guessing the two bagseeds are males; no sign of female sex as of today. The two feminized seeds, White Rhino & Pineapple Express, haven't shown female preflowers either. Hoping tomorrow I will see something! I took one clone from the White Rhino and one from the Pineapple Express. Both are doing fine, but I haven't seen any roots yet (almost been two weeks now). Anyway, all the plants are shooting up like crazy; definitely a lot taller than the last set of photos. I will hopefully have some new shots up this week!
** The G13 Pineapple Express has been the most beautiful looking plant I've ever grown. All the leaves are so damn identical to each other. The shape n everything is just fucking awesome. Lol just wanted to put it out there! **

So it's been ten days since the last pic update. I pulled one definite male which was bagseed #1. I'm not sure if bagseed #2 is male or female yet...thought it was a male but I wanna say I saw some very, very tiny white pistils...so I'm going to wait another day or two to make sure I don't kill a hoe...
You can definitely see how much they have grown upwards since changing to 12/12.

Real nice dark green colour arent dey...or is that the camera?...
hope dat was lil white hairs you be seeing...or there goes another one...
What kinda green did the bagseed come out of? (cant remember if you said early on inda thread)

The plants are certainly a deep green color, but the flash on the camera exaggerated it a bit I'd say. Feeding them Tiger Bloom now. Wish I had the money for Cha Ching & Beastie Bloomz but those will probably have to wait. The bagseeds were randomly picked out of a bag of 300+ seeds. Mostly mid-grade stuff, def no high-end stuff. But sumtimes those lil bagseeds can surprise you big time!

I hear dat man, grew out a seed i thought was guna be mid - low grade s**t and the end product was
...seriously though it was some nice smoke... nufink like the stuff i got the seed out of...

are you using the other 2 foxfarm ferts big bloom and tiger bloom yet? and are you still feeding @ each watering 1/2 the scheduled dose?

I've stopped using Grow Big when I switched to 12/12. The last week or so they were getting full dose of Grow Big. I am now feeding them full strength Tiger Bloom and results have been pretty good. No nute burn so I'm happy.
G4J - Right on. My first ever grow was bagseed and holy smokes did it blow me away. I wish I had a seperate room where I could do Bagseeds in; I'm going to try to stick with feminized seeds from now on. Just hurts putting so much effort into a plant everyday for over a month and then find out you have to kill it!

100%. I used the paper towel method. Took between 24-30 hours for the seeds to pop and produce a decent sized root to transplant. Jock Horror is growing like mad. It has the largest pistils I have ever seen on a plant! I hope it slows down its vertical growth soon...
grow4joe - Thanks man, much appreciated! I have a photography background so maybe that has something to do with it lol. Wish I had a DSLR again though, right now I'm stuck with a little point and shoot digicam haha.kiss-ass
I decided to take a couple more photos today. You can really see how tall the Jock Horror is getting. My first Pineapple Express clone also rooted and I transplanted it into soil yesterday! I hope my GHS White Rhino clone roots as well!
