Thanx.
It's a mix something like,
40%FoxFarm Ocean Forest
40%Perlite
20% FoxFarm Light Warrior
Yes, they are flowering on a 4x8 tray in 5 gal. pots:mrgreen:.

I water by hand.
I use a 50 gal. drum with a fountain pump circulating the water.
I use a 1/2 gal. pitcher to water with.
The water does drain very well with my soil mix and overwatering them is of little concern for me.

I grew with FF Ocean Forest one time and i think you would agree that it is a pretty light and airy soil. Plus you add an equal part of perlite to it correct? This makes for a super fluffy medium no doubt. ALmost like hydro in rockwool or coco.

What pH do you water at? And do you get awesome results?

Yes it is super fluffy like you described.
The one downside is that young plants take more care to water.
Because if you just dump it on then the loose soil mix, it will move and possibly damage roots.
So a slow steady hand is needed.
As far as results go,
I believe I'm getting the best of both world's.:hump:
I haven't used the Ph tester in months.:eyesmoke:

wuts up bro. finally found ur thread. ill be down in san rafael/santa ventia area for christmas. We should collaborate over a FATTIE

Well my Ph results have been very consitently within 6.0-7.0.
I just let my tapwater sit overnight in a 50 gal. drum with a subpump circulating the water.

when i grow in soil i do the same thing no need to test ph imho hydro is a different story cause your roots live in water in soil the ph buffers out really well

Been offline for some time!
This whole time I've been fighting off debt and spider-mites.
Neem oil has been my weapon of choice and it seems only to be holding them off and they are persistent on staying.
2 of my girls were more infiltrated then the others, and they were banished outdoors.

Unfortunately without an internet connection I was way less motivated to photograph and document any details of the last few weeks.

So, I'm afraid all I have is a few snapshots.
The first is a small sampling of Bubba Kush, second is SLH.
Bubba was flowered for 9 weeks and the SLH was flowered for 11.

Here is what the SLH looked like in full bloom.
She has exquisite taste. Something like a nickel plated lemon :joint::grin: .

Thanks, yes she is.
I let this girl keep going and going and she looked better and better every couple days.
After 11 long weeks she went hermie!
Fortunately I was hoping on this.
I had some difficulty in trying to obtain some pollen for my Bubba Kush.
So when I harvested them I left small portions of the Bubba's alive and flowering.
These little girls were positioned next to the SLH like always and also flowered over 11 weeks in total(They never hermied).
The pollen from the SLH made it's way down to the Bubba and across the room to a few Goo flowers!
So now a have a very small stock of seeds and a couple new crosses that I'm excited about.

Lazy Bubba (Super Lemon Haze x Bubba Kush)
Glooh (Goo x Super Lemon Haze)

I just went and checked the dozen seeds I planted a few days ago and 5 have sprouted.
Pics later.:bigjoint:
