normally use flood and drain cutting system with rockwool cubes , just building a bubbler cloner never seen one other than a couple of photos a while back but understand the principle just got to cut the holes in the lid for my foam plugs to hold the cuttings ,gonna make them long strips each holding several cuttings as oppossed to the circular plugs holding just one i saw someone else use . any one who uses this system can feel free to give me some tips if they like. will compare to my normal system under the same light to compare .

just finished a day of work on all things green, had to take my cutting systems to there new home took them the night before last , put them under twin 2foot triphosphors, then i had to do a full nutrient dump on my system and then flush my plants before putting them back , took me all ........ day. anyone who thinks theres no work to this stuff has never had to maintain a system and all of the other stuff that comes with like cuttings etc.
as i mentioned in another thread ive used honey and rooting hormone powder to take the cuttings ,supposed to work extremely well, will keep you posted on how it actually works.

havent checked my cuttings in a few days went and had a look and several roots forming on all the diff strains my tried and true rockwool flood and drain system hasnt got any yet but the bubbler dipped in a combo of honey with a little bit of rooting hormone mixed in have already started rooting .

having alrieady taken some 64 odd cuttings and been having my usual success with getting the diff strains to root , despite the fact i tried my first attempt at a homebuilt bubble/Aero Cloner and didn't use my tried and trusted clonex gel, i substituted a mixture of mainly honey 95% and powder rooting hormone mixed thouroughly i am quite surprised at how well its all gone ,considering i could get no responses from anyone about the success or lack there off, of honey as a replacement for rooting gel apparantely it has great anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and an abundance of sugars that are in a form readily absorbable by the cutting. obviously the anti-fungal / bacterial properties are extremely helpful when it comes to cuttings as they are often the downfall of cutttings yet here a natural product that works great at keeeping these nasties at bay . i was tempted to try just honey with no powder hormone mixed as i have read that the plant ,especially the lower branches contains the same hormone we buy in products such as clonex naturally occurring within .therefore there is no need for the hormone , next time will give just straight hone a go and test this as well but so far so good. im building a second much larger bubbler ;aero cloner to make up the numbers i will need to go sog which will also be a first for me as i usall always grow a few messive plants vegged for ages but times on my hands and actually may end up speeding things up once the rooms done. yeah i know i sstill haven't finished .

so far every strain has shown roots and in both sytems . some had just the rooting powder some just honey and some a combo of both problem is i didnt label which was which so don't know which rooted faster , another advantage for the a aero cloner might have been temp there roots are in a sealed environment with the purfect temp oxygen and nute levels whereas as its cold here the rockwool cubes which at most get watered once a day are subjected more to the cold . there right below the twing 2 " flouros which put off some heat and above there reservoir which is heated but still the root zone wouldn't be optimal hence the ten odd days to root instead of seven for the aero/ bubble cloner .

a few shots of the clones going great ,temps way to low but lost four due to getting caught in bubbler lid when closing (crushed them) the replaced clones rooted in max 4-5 days . a new record for me in the fourth pic you should be able to pick out five sensi seeds skunk 1 seedlings the last of them from my last batch

yeay 200 is a few but screw it i need to chop the biggies down again and if i go sog who knows how many im gonna need? the real ? is what to do once theyve rooted and im still a lazy .... who hasn't finished his room .

just decided to go sog as might have already mentioned used rockwool cubes in flood n drain sytem and a bubbler system i just homebuilt. now figured need heap more clones so building my new aero cloner will still put in a couple of airsones or air curtains as well but using the sprayers/ misters this time ,just been experimenting with diff types one doesn't work at all (green) another sprays little droplets almost straight up (yellow) and the other sprays thin streams slight above horizontal in all directions (blue) think this or the yellow or maybe a combo of the two. anyway bla bla bla
check out the pics so far
