mutant? bud growing on water leaf

was just checking on my plants and noticed some bud growing on a water leaf thought it was pretty cool anyone ever had a plant do this?

you shold try clonging that leaf... lol... that'd be interesting... a rooted LEAF with flowers on it...

thats shit no one ain't never seen together...
 
Hey, so I know that this thread is really really old....BUT.....

thought I would put it out there that my four dutch passion blueberry,1st generation clones, are growing bud on leaves too...but its everywhere....weird, but what can I do....dont want to snip them cause there is bud there!...but its a leaf!

I dont know why, just thought I would share that it may be more common than ya think?
 
I just noticed last night one of my plants is growing bud out of some of the fan leaves


weird shit,

im guessing I should not clone that one cuz she may be a mutant?

or should I clone her because she is a mutant?


they are from Subcool Jack the ripper seeds
 
I have buds growing off my leaves too; this is with a hydroponic system. Maybe that has something to do with it??

BTW - Mutations are the sources of evolution, without the we would not be here. :-o
