Natural Renewable Bug Catcher

I live out in the sticks, and there are bugs EVERYWHERE!!!!! Its a hazard each morning venturing into my room, will I find a giant centipeed? Snake? Giant spider from hell? Stupid little gnats/flies/mosquitoes...

Well I found a solution for all the mini bugs (all my fly/bug traps dont have crap on them...they dont work...) =)

Meet the Sundew!

Here is what it caught so far since putting it in my room a couple weeks ago:





I have found these plants to work the best so far in catching bugs, the other ones (pitcher, fly trap, etc) just dont produce like this puppy! Heck, my fly paper sheets sit empty as this thing catches 1-2 a day. I love these plants!

Best of all, just give it some water, and it will just keep regenerating new sticky leaves (about a new leaf every 2 days)!! Natrual fly paper!

Where did you pick this plant up at? I love it! Your are getting all this bugs during an indoor grow? If so, do you leave the windows open?

serrious where can i get oe need one for some nats that i see in the soil sometimes

Most nuseries or even home depot and lowes carries them.

My setup is in a room located inside a basement (tool storage). Even with 3 doors to go through, those critters manage to make it in =)

Just thought I'd put an update and say these guys did an awesome job at removing the little gnats in my room. I have 3 of the plants total, and they have seemed to kill everything, I cant find a single gnat anymore, it even caught a big old moth the other night! =)

On a side note, it didnt have any luck catching a big old black snake that some how made it inside =) It left me a nice present this morning (It shedded its scales)!! Its an adventure walking into my grow =)
