Is this a sign shes a female???

I noticed last night what looks like little white hairs...there only about an 1/8 th inch long... heres a pic.... you have to enlarge it and its hard to see...thanks...:confused:

yup, the little thing with the white hairs coming out of it is a flower and white hairs are pistils. looks like you have a young lady on your hands. Congrats :D

woooohoooooo, thanks bl33b.... thats what I figured....im so excited.... best news Ive heard in a while.....lol..:mrgreen:
 
what i can;t tell from the pics is whether those are stipules or pistils. stipules come in pairs, are on the plant from the beginning, are green and are located just below each node. they are on both female and male. pistils start only when the plant is flowering, are longer (more than two) white hairs and are located at the node. they're e on females only.

the preflowers will start to show in a plant if it is completly mature for its age,generally in about 2months of veggin the plants will start to show there sex before flowering ,and fyi u got a girl

this helps a lot desertrat...thanks man... Ill have to wait till this afternoon when they wake up to have a better look... im pretty sure there nodes.. there toward the top of the plant... I know the stipules and what they look like, but now im really not sure..lol... can stipules grow little white hairs?... thanks again..

with two months vegging wacky;s right, they could be preflowers. if your plants have nodes with alternating instead of paired leaves then it is mature and you should start flowering. 60 days is a long time to veg.

yeah I know its a long time to veg but I read somewhere the longer you veg , the more potent your lady will be. so i figured if I veg them till there about 3 ft. then Ill end up with 5 ft. ladies because they grow about 2 ft. in flower, and im hoping this way ill increase my yeild also.... so is it not a good thing to veg for 2 or 3 months? and if they are showing sex, should I put them into flower right away or is it ok to keep vegging.... im a bit confused.....lol.. thanks for the help desertrat...much appreciated..

as far as i know, extended vegging gives you more bud but not more potent bud.

yea, i'd go to 12/12 lighting right away, i think you;ve got all you;'re going to from vegging. besides, flowering is more fun.
