need some beginner help

hello everyone. this is my first grow and i will be using a 6 planter sh bubble ponic system.i have my own lights tho. i have a 400 watt hps ballest light and reflector. i will use a mh bulb for veg and hps for veg.i also heard i shood use 40 watt bulbs the first too weeks.is that a good idea?i will be buying extra airstones and air pump. i will be useing the fire and forget nute packages from sh. i heard i shood only use 1/4 of them at the begining??????i will be ordering a digital ph meter asap. my cars fuel pump just went out.MINOR setback. any tips or feedback would be AWESOME!

40 watt bulbs? You must not mean incandescent lamps as those kill plants rather readily.

yea i read somewhere to use 2 40 watt fluorescent to reinact sping. the first two weeks then mh and hps. hey juggalo i couldent check out that link it said error. how is your setup goin???

Completely unnecessary. You could actually be growing the plants instead of adding a couple of idle weeks until you get any bud.
