hey all....I'm about to try growing some blueberry & was wondering if there was anyone around who has grown this before & could give me a little insite.....thanks
 
dp blueberry is one of, if not the, the most unstable strains ever made. dont do it. i along with many, many others have been royally screwed from the strain turning hermie and pollenating a whole room.
 
Yes Super is right! Its not the best plant! I had 3 out of the 4 that made it hermie. In saying that I grew outdoors from a few blueberry mothers for years that were fantastic. Sad to say gone forever!!!!

Listen to this guy or you will regret it! I had one go sideways on me 3-4 weeks into flower! Worst fucking hermie I have ever had, fucking popped nanners at the nodes all over the place. DP Blueberry is the devil! If you get a stable one they are good, but going from seed there are way to many good strains out there to fuck with this unstable strain! Check into Sannies Seeds. They have great strains and they are STABLE!
 
Lol.....thanx for the heads up guys. I actually have had the seeds for a while now just never tried them until recently. I dropped one in the waterfarm & let her go. Didn't do too well & I didn't do much too her to cause problems. Still growing, 4 weeks into flower...stanky & sticky but very light & airy....no signs of hermie.....just wanted to know if there was something I could do to help the next round.....thanx again

This was my first grow! Yeah like everyone said, it's a crap shoot.
i did it in Dwc. Kept them at 800 ppm the whole grow. Touchy, very touchy.
the airy buds should fill in, if its the pheno I had.
Smelled like juicy fruit gum. Great smoke, wouldn't buy again.
 
Ok, so the blueberry is a no go ! So can anyone recommend a strain ? Something not too hard to grow, packs on great wieght & has a very nice high.....I don't mind putting in the work, its just that this blueberry seems to act a fool for no reason !
 
I'm about to order some querkle, and some others.
I haven't tried it yet, but I hear a lot of good things about
tga gear. I'm growing sannies killing fields, and
dr greenthumb Bubba x OG right now. The bubba is
very easy to grow, my kf is sensitive.
 
Thanx for the info bleuballz, yes, I was wondering about the airy buds & if they would fill out. Was hoping it wasn't the result of the many set-backs. They seem to have gotten a bit thicker the last few days but wasn't sure if it was truely gettin thicker or my wishfull thinking....lol
 
Yeah I remember my bb went like 11 1/2 weeks, and
most of the weight came on around week 7-8?
After a 3 week cure, the buds were amazing.
 
Yeah, gonna take my time with it to see how it acts, I still have a couple more BB seeds. I've been runnin with Nirvana's Ice....very, very easy & forgiving Cannibis cup winner....I have their. Royal flush that I haven't tried yet & G13 pineapple express...grew it a couple times, it was pretty good.
 
I am just finishing up some White Russian in flood and drain and it is extremely easy to grow as it was my first hydro grow and it lived lol. It does stretch masive amounts but my day night temps were quite far apart so that might have contributed. The high is one of the more uplifting that I have experienced and it has only been around 70 days start to finish from seed. Also why would you throw away a seed? if you watch closely and are aware of issues you should be able to catch hermies before they do any damage IMO. And who knows, you may have that perfect plant that is the amazing "blue berry", but probably not!! lol. Good luck with your next choice, its a tough choice. Another choice might be White Domina as it was easy to grow but I did it in soil and am presently doing a Mataro Blue hydro grow but it is not so easy as it is a very light feeder and PH is a concern, if above 6 it lets you know with a bit of yellow. I have talked to the breeder and he has had the same issues. I do like Kannabia seeds due to price and I have not had one plant out of close to 100 seeds hermie or die, 100% germination and 100% female, at $40 for 5 seeds.
 
I just bought a pack of dream lotus from bodhi... blue dream x snow lotus cross... can't wait to grow them. I've heard great things about bodhi, he has blue Tara too which I think is a dj short BB x snow lotus but I could be wrong. They are regular beans though.

I just finished g13 sour ak... it yielded very good but the shit took 11 weeks.

I just wanted to chime in,my beans have been similar to yours and iam just starting.I recieved a free fem dp bb that I wanted to grow but now I think ill go with dj blueberry and iam also starting my grow with g13 pe,just thought it was cool,ill let you know how it goes
