Sorry folks bigstuff asked me to close this thread! Due to constant data loss!

2X4 stealth grow #2 started out with coco in small pots but trying to get even better yields with my new flood and drain system!
Wish me Luck!

using 3 part AN nutes 25 gallon res 2x4 flood table 2x4 tent
Air: sentinel on a mini inline fan
with 4inch scrubber to light to outgoing fan

2 pumps one for flood and drain one for mixing res
2 air stones 1 small air pump
2 timers
1 600w hps light

last but not least 12 Beautiful Girl's

all you can hear is a wisp of air coming from the closet. nothing my running computer or room fan cant take care of.

some pics of these beauties :D ...Lol hope i do not fuck them up like before with my coco ...ended up ok. but still.

well i just brewed a tea for my veggies .. so how much do i use in the res ... cause adding water will change the formula of the res?

I'm a little new to teas, whats the concept behind them? Your adding microbes and such to a chemically fertilized res? what will the microbes eat? What is the benefit?

I'm just getting back to hydro, been keeping it simple since. Thanks

the concept is a bad bactiria free res! the bennafit is so so! so you brew good bactiria and it kills bad bactiria! ie pythium/brown slime!
theres realy not much per say for food thats why you add back new tea every three days, beats using h202 or other chemical products

hey Karr heres a link to give you a better idea!

well when water temps are high 70+ bacteria grow in the res and in the flood table and so when you add beni bacteria it goes to war with the bad kinda and keeps slime and poop smelling water from killing your plants roots. + beni bacteria help your roots flourish so its a win win

any way during the brewing of the army of good you add sugar or molasses to feed them before sending your army to there inevitable death . its never ending war cause the bad will all ways eventually take over . so you keep adding your fresh army of good to keep the bad in Check.

Haha nicely put. Fortunately my Rez has been pretty controlled temps since I switched to 30/30 (minutes) on off, I'm surprised the like it too. Haha. Oh it's a rainforest 66 setup.

I have used h2o2 in the past, I like the idea of a sterile Rez, but your right. Eventually you lose. And finding h2o2 food grade locally is tough, not to mention it degrades over time.

Thanks for the link!

Tis grows going to bg nice, i too need to graduate to a system like this. So simple yet effective.

dont add back nutes just strait water. then ph it, you shouldnt need to add water for at least 4 days!!

first off do not ph the tea! just add it to the res then ph it if its needed, if you add the tea and the ph is bellow 6.0 dont ph.

only ph if it goes above 6.0 that ph perfect stuff is rock solid so dont trip.
as for ppm when the water is used by the plants the ppms will raise up
when it gets close to 1300 then add back water to fill the res back up, as
your doing this the ppm will drop if it drops bellow your target ppm! you will
have to add back nutes.

k so after my first night with them .temps in the water lowered to 66 degrees ph rise to 6.0. ppm lowered to 1000 from 1050 room temp is 66 degrees 29 % humility

so far they seem to like the flood times

and they seem to really like the grodan ok plugs down there to root into they are all ready WELDED to them so well there rooted there now for good lol.

here is a pic they seem to have opened up and growing new growth .. do not even think they got a shock even a bit :D
