Growlab, 1000w from seed to flower

hello all,
I will be experimenting with my first indoor setup with the 5'x5'growlab.
I will be using a 4'x4' Ebb and Flow table.

I have selected some seeds from some dank that my homie gave me when he came back from cali, he said it is either GDP,LSD,CHEESE, OR GREENCRACK.
I want to know if anyone can identify it by pictures which I ill post later this afternoon.
The seeds are of good quality I can see because they are all identical and all came out of monster buds that i have broken down into this to extact my seeds.

ALSO I want opinions on how many seeds I should start in my GrowLab, keeping in mind I am doing this to look for a MOTHER PLANT, I dont know exactly what im looking for in a MOTHER PLANT so opinions on that would also be nice.

Are you asking if one can identify a strain by looking at its seed? Cant be done

I would start with like 10-12 seeds . When i started growing and even 3 or 4 grows later, i wish i had started w/less . until I got EVERY single stage just right. Conditions change w/the weather even on indoor.
i hope your not going to use 1000 watts on your seeds ,,right? Before u start u may want to do a dry run for a few days to see how conditions will act in the lab .

Well, seeing that GDP and Green Crack are clone only. I would narrow it down to LSD and Cheese. Now Cheese is unmistakable. Did the bud smell like cheese at all?

THanks Romano, I have like 40 of these seeds and I do have some of the broken down smaller buds to show you for identifying, I have grown outdoors a few times and had wonderful results overall, I have everything to start and have been waiting for months for this bud to come with the seeds and now its hear! (it was from his grow) should all be fem seeds but if not I will weed out the males for a beautiful female crop and then I need help to select the mother. WHO WANTS TO HELP?

I Do plan on starting fully under the 1000w actually because of i have SUNPULSE BULBS AND will be using my 6400K blub about 24"above them for starts until they have a couple sets of leafs. then moving in closer to blow them up!

What does cheese smell like? I have no idea??? and it very well could be Creencrack or gdp, note these shall be fem seeds coming from my buddies fem grow down in cali, he just gave me a lil bud that he femed out for me and is loaded with seeds of whatever it is. I also got a bud without seeds from the same plant, different branches, its definetly the same.... I have no doubts in my mind. ( I have seen hundreds of kinds of stuff from him so i know its legit.)

Smells like cheese dude.

Is the bud purple? Does it smell like cheese? Is it really bright green?

Its extrememly bright green, the trimmer was not up on par as you will see in the pictures. But It has a very pungent skunky kind of unreal smell. Definetly something I have never smelt in my life. A cheese does come to picture when I smell it but just not the label I would put on it. The high is also unlike anything I have ever had. REDICULOUS UP HIGH THAT TRANFORMS INTO A STONE AND ROLLING BACK AND FORTH, IT MAKES MY FACE NUMB AND TAKES MY BREAKTH AWAY JUST AS MUCH AS THE SMELL OF IT. I HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME STOMACH PAIN WITH THIS FINE HERB BUT FOOD COMFORTS IT. ITS TRUELY AN AMAZING BREED. AWWW LOVE AT FIRST SITE! THANK YOU AND BEST REGAURDS TO SOCAL!

ALSO operation 420 - no it is not purple, it is the most intense lime green I have ever seen on a bud with very long almost half inch long golden brown hairs. I have heard him call it "greenbud" over and over. This is also making me believe the sweet overly aromatic, pungent skunk like smell is most definetly a "greencrack" After handling my fingers were a shade of yellowish green because of the extrememly high thc content and thus after skraping the thc into my mouth with my teeth I found a very numbing effect and the taste was identical to the smell and also formed a deep stomachache which drifted away after 20minutes and turned into a hour long halfbaked holyshit im tripping stoney affect!

It is not actually a skunky smell, I am just using that as a comparision to the level of the flavor and smell, its very very strong when squeezed. kinda a musty smell at the same time with a sweet, and sour smell like intense kind of diesel gone bad! OR A DIESEL ON CRACK!

Oh yes and when I was doing the finger taste test I found it very spicey unlike any other spicey bud taste in this world!
As far as the smell once you smelt it and smoked a bowl you just couldnt help but to pack a couple more......... no matter how high your kite was flying! Its a lovely meledy of flavor!

This stuff is very much so a very intoxicating smell and smoke! REDICULOUS! IT puts the sour diesel, ultimate indica and almost everyother top headies i've smoked to shame! Did I forget to say I love this shit as of tonight?

Anyone care to take a stab at what the strain may be? I've formed some good hypothesis on it now after much more reading throughout the night, a possible "cheese" x Clombian Red, or CheeseCrack haha I made that one up but I do believe it is based from cheese whatever strain it is or if not that theres no doubt then it has to be greencrack.... either way im extremely please with it this overwhelming herb, much much much more intense than any skunks or anything else I have ever - seen, smoked, or even smelt in my life and my freinds have all agreed (asking about 2 dozen freinds lastnight at the smoke up)

Bright green with a spicy smell is most definitely Green Crack.

Ok boys which one is it? It shares both traits of both of them. And I do know that when I was licking my fingers the taste was sooooo damn spicey it almost choked me out haha and gave me like a gutrot feeling from it a rock in my stomach that would pass when i ate!
Its great shit either way, but I want to know what it is guys! BTW i have both cheese and GreenCrack this week now< as my buddy brought up another batch and this time its all indoors so I haven found a seed in this dank.

He said the seedbatch that I got came from oudoors, which I could kinda tell being fluffy and stretched looking kinda buds.

So I have like matched the bud from which the seeds came from and it is too hard to tell which is the same, just because of how different indoor and outdoor cali bud is.

So who wants to tell me exactly what strain it is????

And also will it be alright to star my girls under he 1000w bulb righ off the start as long as a keep it about 24inches off the tops of the babies until they are up to their 4nodes and then bring it down to about 18"?

Also how many of these should I start in my 4x4 table when looking for a mother out of them? and what should I be looking for in my mother to select her?

1. Carbon filter; hang from top of tent
2. run duct from carbon filter to reflector
3. run duct from reflector to in-line fan and then short duct out of tent

YOu want to PULL air with the fan, not PUSH it. Anymore questions, I will be here.

Thanks for clarifying that WonderBlunder, Sounds about right!

In addition I would run cold ouside air into one of the ducts on my tent also for fresh air correct?
All this time I thought I was supposed to put the inline fan between the filter and the intake on the hood pushing the scrubbed air through the hood. but really i want it sucking the scrubbed air through the hood, and then exhaust it out ?

I will get more pics once I get the new babies up and running.







Another question is I am building a CLONER/seed starting thing. Here are pics of the materials I will use and my rubbermaid.

2-12" airstones
1-daul hose airpump for the airstones
1-rubbermaid 15"x24" x (7" deep)
15- 3" netcups
15-SUNLEAVES Super Starter Plugs
1- Bag of Hydroton (for the net cups where I will place my starter plugs with the seeds and cuttings)

Sound like it ill work?

SOunds like it should do the trick once you get it tuned in. I would definitely give the tent a cold air intake..... Maybe a duct booster fan or something similar.
