Flower Sweetener: when do the flowers uptake the most?

Hey guys,

I am running dwc and I change my rez every 8 days, so those are my weeks... I am 4 rez changes away from harvest, and I have 1 L of GH FloraNectar.

It calls for 10 mL per gal. I have 28 gal, so I could just put 250 mL each of the last 4 weeks/ changes. But I am wondering if there is a better use.

I am going to use gravity on the 3rd to last week, so I thought more sweetener then might be good as things really plump up.

I'm thinking 250 ml, 300 ml, 300 ml, 150 ml.

Also the last two weeks/ changes will be only water and sweetener.

But I am asking you guys, should I use more the last week? Don't use any the last week?

It's not that big a deal, I just want the most for my $20 and I would love if my buds tasted like pineapple.

Guesses are acceptable.

i know nothing of the product u speak of but I would imagine this product is similar to AN's carboload.. I use this and will not use this the last week, I will run just ph'd water and final phase (flushing product) if I decide to order it... So I would probably say go by what it says 280, 280, 280, then if I were u I wouldn't use any the final week... But I'm no grow god, lol...

Thanks a lot for that. I think I'll do something like you said. I didn't know whether to do this and water or just water the last week.

I dont agree it's more like sweet leaf. Is a flavor and aroma inhancer which do contain carbs derived froms sugars. Use the recomeneded dosage during the entire flowering cycle.

In other words you would use it all the way through to harvest???

yea i would use it all the way through til harvest...it will be fine. I have heard of pineapple rush, it is a relatively new product from GH. my hydro shop guy didnt have any in stock i was looking to get some myself. Please, let us know how you like it. Def use it til the end though there is no harm.

anywho do u recomend putting those sweetners through the whole cycle then too get tht Taste going

I use Liquid Karma and Banana Manna through the whole cycle, adding AN Bud Candy during flowering. Taste and tricomb count are exceptional.

Personally I don't think I'll ever use a sweetener again. Just don't see the need. My herb tastes good and has lots of trichs. The stuff just messes up my tank... makes it all funky in there. Maybe better for soil.

i use banana manna week 3-7 its made of exotic fruit extracts and it contains certain plant hormones but i use soil .

I like the AN Bud candy and Bud XL from H&G...The enzymes in the Bud XL bring out the sweetness from the Bud candy without losing the natural taste of the strain......My patients could see and taste a much better product.....and that was enough proof for me.......Peace
