my ghetto single site drip system

I keep my number of plants real low to keep my crime a misdemeanor in my state, 5 or less. i usually have 2 plants in various stages of flower and 1 or 2 in veg and 1 or 2 clones. i flower in a 3x3 ebb & flow setup with a 400w hps, i veg and clone with 6 - t-12 40w tubes and have been hand watering until now. I had an old peristaltic pump(product moves through tubing, never touches moving parts of pump) laying around collecting dust, some tubing and fittings, and an ice cream pail. i built a frame out of 2x2's to hold the ice-cream-bucket-reservoir and keep the half-milkjug-drip-tray above it. next i made a ghetto-ass-dripper-ring with a T-fitting and some soft tubing i cut slits in with a razor(nothing ghetto is made without a razor). all that was left was to connect the pump to the ghetto-ass-dripper-ring, ice-cream-bucket-reservoir, and the timer.

so its ugly, kinda spread out, and ugly...but it works fuckin great!! i love it!

definately get a bigger pot, you'll be rootbound in no time.

You could try the 5gal net tops. I'll give you a pic tomorrow, it works great with just an airstone and your drip setup. think a 5gal bucket with a lid that has a net pot in the middle of it.

you really think i need a pigger pot? i have two flowering in the same pots right now, on in flush the other at like 18 days and they dont seem potbound to me. ill put up more pics tomorrow if i get a chance, maybe start a proper journal. thanks for stopping by.

Those look like 1/2 gallon pots, if you upgrade to the 2 gallon size, you'll have more area for root growth and nutrient uptake.
