That is sweet looking bud Honkey. I wish I was in that low humidity with you. You would love it here, it's been 90+ degrees and 80 to 90% humidity here.

Thanks bro. i just had to love it ya know. and yeah...mmm mmm dry heat...sucks it has been over 110 for five days in a row here till today.
but beats the feelin of "I just got out of the shower all day". lol...I feel for ya man. I actually don't envy the humidity...but my buds do when they are dryin out for me. I do however enjoy a nice Texas vacation every now and again.

Hello Honkytown,

Could you please tell me what is the final determining factor when looking at the hairs when it's time to harvest. I've got a crop that just got too hot and may have gotten burned. Suddenly, the hairs have turned amber to brown.

Do I look for curling, or color or anything else on the plant that will help me?
I figure you're busy now or got the crew working for you but I appreciate your response.

Nice work HONKEY-----Was that cola under a 600 or 1000 hps?
Thanks man. I grew it under a 150 watt hps up until four days ago actually. I was surprised by the wet weight to be honest...but I have two more that have been under the 600 watter I got four days ago and they have about a month yet...so they will be awesome! but yeah...pretty much just the 150......I jerry rigged it..but I am just gonna veg with it from now on. I also added a pic of my 600 watt and the ballast I got the other day...:blsmoke:

I dunno...Fdd says he just goes by the visual color on the plant...i don't wanna misquote him but he said something in one of his threads about seeing the smaller leaves turn amber...i can't tell too well without my microscope...do you have any pics? I bet we can find some answers for you

Your harvested plant looks great. I'm learning a lot from looking at your stuff. If you can do that with Mexican bagseed I'm stoked to see what you can do with the Connie in your new grow room!!

It will be so cool to see how we all perpetuate this strain and what becomes of our crops!!

Thanks man...i appreciate the response to the buds...and it's nice recognition. I already got a 600 up in the same flowering spot with two other girls under it that were bigger than this one. the area is four feet wide by two feet deep and I have the light six feet high...I have better seeds lined up...so my next run and the few weeks the two other girls have should make some more really pretty stuff...im excited

looks good ...Enjoy and teach what you have learned ..
Thank you korvette....I very much will pass it on. gotta love seeing people really succeed with a grow...always makes me smile
