Okay, so it's day 56, this is an indica... The pic provided is one of the main colas.

I checked the trics with a 30x scope, but I have bad vision so I couldn't tell for SURE the percentages, however, it did look like there were a few amber trichomes here and there, with a decent amount of cloudy, and SOME clear.

I'm going to keep watching the plant, and probably harvest sometime between monday and Thursday.

Thoughts?

And hey, YOU! Thanks for looking at this thread, I know there's a bunch more just like it

Is it 56 days from seed? since showing its sex? or into flower?
Oops, sorry. 56 days flowering. NO dark period between 20/4, and 12/12.

It is getting close but has a little time yet IMO.
So would you say another 4-5 days would be an accurate guesstimate? (holy shit Firefox has the word guesstimate in it's the dictionary! LOL!)

keep it in the dark 2 days
I read the idea of that was to let the starches go from the bud into the roots, and then there were many people saying there's NO difference. I'm still yet to find anything definitive on that idea. I hear it does is stress the plant.

Looks good - yeah the end of this week should be fine (I'd say next weekend personally to be safe...)

Either way, flush them (and make it a good one) NOW...

Been watering with ph balanced water only (except molasses added in every other watering)

Theyre getting a little fatter calyxes are like 2x the size, still waiting for the tops of the buds to mature but the rest of the plant looks good ;)

I'd wait till those clear ones are cloudy, The 36 hr dark period theory is that light breaks down thc and is replenished during the dark, so the extra dark time ensures maximum thc levels, thats the theory, The jury is still out on this one, ive gotten results that seem to confirm and results that seem to show its pointless, I'm still experimenting with it, I'm not quite as big of a supporter as i once was, but im not willing to say for sure yet.

Yeah dude I feel that, usually on buds I buy I see a amber tint to some of it, and theres NONE of that. I took a small sample and dried it for a few days and smoked it, it was a whole lot of head high, not very strong though.. So yeah waiting for that amber to give it more of a body stone

yeah man maybe wait like a week or something
Yeah I'm waiting as long as it takes, they seem to have slowed down a bit but thats okay ;)

Day 58, the other plant I have is starting to catch up... It's has sativa dominant genetics though so that will take a while anyway

Hey, looking good man. I'm in the same boat as you. I'd say wait a bit just to be safe.

I've been flowering for about 6 weeks and i'm getting so antsy, but i know its not ready yet.

Good luck!

Lookin good man, hope its nice for ya :D

Sugars (and starches) are in the roots at night. All you have to do is harvest at the end of the night cycle. Cut thru the stem in the dark before any light touches the plant, and you'll be set..

I had a bug infestation :(

https://www.rollitup.org/bugs/329708-less-than-week-harvest-white.html

Just in the roots/soil though. (They feed on the roots) I felt like the plants were growing painfully slowly and I suppose it was these little bastards munching on the roots. I've been watching my soil close when I water it, and this is the first time I noticed the fuckers so I caught it early :). Oh well though, I'm sure it has a ridiculous amount of roots in there no way they could have done any REAL damage in the time they were in there... I'm pretty sure I got most of the bugs with the blow torch and other little organic insecticide I used. Using a insecticide soap on them tomorrow with a little fresh water.

As far as plant development, the thing is getting coated in red calyx hairs. Also a lot more calyxes are starting to recede and fatten up. LOOKING LIKE SOME REAL BUD! ... Hoping it will be soon to harvest, hoping the plant starts maturing a bit faster now that I'm taking care of the bug problem...

Wish me luck I'll come back and update this when I harvest for sure, if you wanna see some recent pics just post on this thread and ill upload them, if nobody's interested then I won't take the time :D

Sick man what are you using on that
That girl is in FFOF soil under a 400 watt ceramic MH. i've been using tiger bloom, big bloom and a touch of molasses for flowering. I used grow big during veg and a couple times during flowering.
