Can I Pick The Buds Ripen?

Yes, no luck needed. For it was foretold by a wise man that I would be a yielder of many great things. "It is your Destiny!," he told me.... Does it matter that we were high and on mushrooms hahaha
Yes, because I still giggle at your thread title. The syntax is fantastic, almost reminds me of Japanese.

i just pulled an all cloudy harvest a few days ago, tried my new drier, and i must say it is realllllly good and tasty. the trics were all cloudy with just a few going amber, nice mellow buzz, heady with a touch of body. and the girl i plucked from is doing nice i see growth no stunting i watch my colas and count the tiers of leaves, helps me keep track of growth, and i harvested 3 days ago and my nicest cola put on 4 new layers about an inch of growth so hmmmmm? good deal! i made a mini al b fuct drier will post pics later works well 83 degree constant temp 21% humidity in the box

tupperware tub, 2 fans, heat sink, and 2 wood burners room temp is average 73 degrees, temp in box stays 82.8 21% humidity level. pulls in heat on bottom cross flow out of top. 2 to 3 days dry. after pics i finished making it lightproop.

I picked one of the ripened buds yesterday. I did a shorter version of a water cure with warm water. I believe I had it submerged for about 2 hours and changed the water a couple times. Then I sat it on my space heater on low-medium while I cooked dinner and ate. When it came time to break it up my fingers got sooooooooo sticky. To the point that the buds were sticking to my fingers and I had to scrape it off. It was a little harsh but it didn't stop for me from smokin' it like it was made from the best shit on earth... "yeah, fuck you snapple! lol!" You could taste the sweetness of the pot though. The high was strong and lasted for a while. Huge body high and cerebral at the same time. I can only imagine what a proper cure and dry will do. Happy Smokin' and Peace!

enjoy!!!! makes it all worth while. my drier is kicking ass, 3 days dry on big buds. i took the dry ones out today threw them in a jar for around an hour or two and they where right on the money and smooth and sweet.

does anyone else dry with the small sugar leafs full or do you trim? i leave the smaller ones on like the ways it looks and they are all gooed up with trics. just a curious question on preferences.

what does the water cure do make them dry faster right?
That sounds so good man

no water curing helps get rid of the nasty stuff extra nuts etc, makes for a better taste and smoothness. but should water cure for around 5 to seven days then hang.will dry quick at this point. but a proper water cure is for like a week.

Is that what they're called? I trim some, but not all. Just finished up trimming my harvest from #4 about 40 minutes ago. She's in the closet with the clones, gonna be a re-veg.

i think i will take my good monster afgani and reveg her but pollinate her next round with some really good auto flower strain try to get some different characteristics going with her. she was, is, and will be the future of experimintation.i tortured this plant from the door but she stayed female and honestly turned out to be a nice producing plant huge. so the genetics seem pretty good to survive alot of torture and stay pure female, she is a breeder

Definitely sounds like a keeper to me. Plus, isn't this line used in creation of many other strains? I don't know all that much about it, but I thought for sure I've seen lots of Afghani x _____________ or vice versa (can't remember which parent is listed first).

I still dig this thread title. :D

i got some good pollen from a bunch of different strains so i want to make a strain of my own combining the 4 top plants i like. gonna be interesting 4 strains bred together, i want big, bushy, high yield, icy tricome, purple plants. possibly an auto flower strain. i figure afgani for the height and yield, ice for the tons and ton of trics,a nice purple kush can vary, and possibly ak47 or something to that effect for the autoflower. think it is possible?

I would not be the person to ask for specifics, but I think you've got a good idea exactly what you're looking for, you know your strains and you've got a brain. All you need is determination at this point. I'd say you've got that as well! :D

i have 2 pure sativas i am also using for breeding against my female i wound up with a male and a female sativa so i matured the male to pollen and saved a nice bunch of it,and started into my first batch with 2 other strains i really have had good luck with. just takes time

I just had a forced early harvest, I've got buds full of soil and... bah, I started a thread about it. I wasn't looking forward to spending the evening trimming.
