The four 15 year old 'yotes that I purchased, combined with a bit peruvian torch that I threw into the mix to boost my mescaline intake, procured an experience that I will not even bother to try describing here. In short, truly life changing. Perspectives and truths revealed about myself and the nature of the cosmos. Sounds hokey, right? But with my experience, true. This experience was drastically different than my San Pedro trips alone. The torch I ate along with the 'yotes did reinforce the peyote trip, but I know the difference now that I've tripped on trichs alone and that trip was all peyote. Simply amazing.
The weeks leading up to the arrival my beautiful little 'yotes consisted of delving into native american culture and music. I spent a great deal of that trip with gorgeous peyote songs dancing through my ears. I believe I saw Grandfather that night. I laid on my bed with all of the lights out and let the spirits dance. Behind the graceful geometric patterns floating in space I caught sight of a whispy character lurking behind the scenes. Occasionally he would casually step out into the 'light' and show his face with a quick unintmidating lunge toward me and left with a faint tracer. He didn't say anything, but I think he is waiting for our next encounter to whisper his secrets to me. The beautiful pulse of the waterdrum and sweet voices of the singers massaging my eardrums all along.
Whew, sorry bout that.. I've never actually written that experience out before. It felt good to finally spew out the experience into words. Even though they still don't do any justice.
