Hello everyone..i wanted to start the journal to help people along and to gather ideas from others..im going to posts some pics in the next day or two.. Let me bring everyone up to speed to where i am at so far. I inoculated 40 jars using PF tec on Mar 13 and they are ready to case on Mar 27. I will show any contams so people can have some idea what to look for and identify problems that show up. I will be casing with 75/25 coir and verm and using 55 quart tubs to fruit the casings.

first off i would like to say that my methods of my growing mushrooms are from many different teks i have studied and i just put my own spin on them.

1. i have 43 one pint jars ready for casing

2. i put 3 cakes into a one gallon bag straight from the jars(keeps contams down)

3. i break up the cakes inside the bags

4. i use 75/25 coco coir-verm casing medium

5. a thin layer of medium goes on bottom of a aluminium roasting pan

6. 2 one gallon bags=6 cakes are put in the roasting pan next

7. cover the cakes with the medium

6. place the roasting pan into a 56 quart tub and lightly water

well thats the short version of what i have done if anyone would like more info or details just ask.....more pics as the fruits start

i knocked up 43 jars and none of them got cotaminated:hump:. i washed the jars in bleach water and boiled the all tools used in the innoculation proccess.. oh, and i sprayed lysol everywhere the jars would be. the clear tubs are the fruiting chambers for each pan and i will posts pictures of how they work for hydration. (ther is a tek called the double tub,and its where you stack them together to make a big chamber) i down sized it to fit smaller areas

Ya i would like a link ....I have only done cubes perlite as my humidfication or just the casing for humidifcation...That is reallly good wow all 42 amazing...kiss-assKeep It all comin

my pressure cooker holds 16 one pints at a time so i can go massive...lol. i have pulled off some really big flushes doing it this way with the pans inside the tubs. here is a couple of pics that show the humidity inside the tubs, and the bigger the water droplets = higher humidity..smaller = lower humidity

Can you go in on hwo you humidfy your chamber maybe a link...Do you heat the water in the lil res. below or is it just room temp....

its like a mini greenhouse.. the casing is wet that provides the water for humidity and fruit temp is like 68-76. what temp range is your house temp?? it all works together in perfect harmony lol.. i fan them twice a day for air transfer but i spray lysol 5 min before i transfer air to help with contams

Great looking grow! Your technique is good. Gonna do my first shroom grow this summer. What strain is that you're growing?

Good good....Now do the cyanescens pinn and every thing like the cubis ...and i thought the pilcybe cyanescens where a woodloveing shrooom..
