My DIY PVC grow tent

Noticed there wasn't very many good shots of a PVC grow tent. Specifically I wanted to know how to hang the lights and crap so this is what I came up with

My tent is 5 feet x 5 and 6 high, I have a 1000 watt HPS light going into it with a 250 CFM fan. I used 1 inch PVC because I have a 4 foot parabolic reflector and it's quite heavy.

This is the base of the structure

This is the ceiling of the structure, I added an extra cross section at the top to hang my light and fan from

And this is it complete minus the hole for the fan, I admit it's not that pretty but it will work just fine!

Nice job.I am thinking to make one tent too,tomorrow.1m W x 0.6m D x 1.8m H.What what was the materials you was used? How you tie PVCs with the tent?

it's just grey rigid electrical PVC (the white is pretty flexible) with some furniture grade 3 way PVC fittings. Cheapest place I found the fittings was formufit.com

Then I wrapped it with panda film. Just measure cut and tape with boxing tape. The panda film is 10 feet wide so it's perfect for this. For the door I just put an extra piece of panda film over a hole, taped it up so I could easily remove it and put it back. Later I'll be using velcro dots though. I can take pictures of the door if you want

Do note that PVC releases chemicals when it degrades. But a lot of people use the big PVC tubes for hydroponic reservoirs

Thank you.I hope that i will find 3-way fittings and some velcro tape.(xrats) :P
I am thinking to use:
4x70cm 1/2''
4x1,03m 1/2''
4x1,83m 1/2''
2x1,00m 1/2''
8x3-way fittings
4 taf pvc connectors(for the 2 middle pvc for lamp and filter)
panda film
velcro
and 1 stapler gun.

I couldn't find any 3 way fittings locally, I went to 3 different hardware stores. A hydroponic store might know where to get them if you tell them you're building a tent. They're mostly used to build shelters for boats/cars or for DIY green houses if that helps you find them. They are called furniture grade fittings
