Custom Wooden Cab, LED, Mixed Medium Hydroponics

This is the second cabinet I've built. I'm mostly satisfied with the design concept, though I intend to rebuild a v3 when time/money allows that is much nicer. I need to tear down/discard some other furniture before build anymore as the grow cabinet is being designed to stealthily operate in a living space. Sound control will be addressed in v3 as right now it's very loud when I have the exhaust on (which create the negative pressure that keeps my door closed properly). The only modification I plan to make on this present model is to SLIGHTLY enlarge the passive air intake. I just didn't want to deal with more sawdust on the floor of the cab (though it just now occurred to me to use a shop vac instead of my hand to clean it up).

As for the hydroponics, it's an in progress diy ebb and flow setup. Right now I still water by hand until I get a lower powered water pump (was filling up too fast, or not draining fast enough if you want to be all pessimistic about it).

This is not a grow journal and there won't be followups on plants. But you can feel to comment on the cabinet itself. Suggestions, questions, oo's and ah's are welcome.

One thing I don't want to hear about is how I shouldn't use LED's. Take it somewhere else, please.

I am actually keeping my eye on this induction lighting.. lol. I also found waterproof LED grow strips that I could use for vegging in a water-sealed cab with a humidifer since I seem to always have low humidity issues with clones.

Finished a cooler project and transplanted some seedlings (skunk #1 & jock horror) into new "custom containers" containing coco; which, by the way, I love. haven't had one gnat infestation or overwatering or overfeeding since I switched from soil and I don't feel paranoid about pumps breaking and everything instantly dying if I'm not around to catch it right away either.

I don't really have temp issues since it's winter, but I wanted a new project. Ultimately once the roots form a sexy little bed at the bottom of these containers they will be sliced open and the lot of it will be put into proper net pots that allow the roots to grow into the reservoir better and at that point I will start the pump on a timed cycle (yet to be determined) but right now I'm watering manually (and it's a labor of love). I will also add an airstone once the roots hit the water as well.

If temps ever DO become an issue for my reservoirs (summer grows it's a possibility) I have a fun project idea I wish I had a reason to use (I may regret making that wish).
