So pretty much today i decided to clean out my greenhouse in the back yard and see what i got to work with! I have pics of some stuff i need some help on!!

Front View:DSCN0893.jpg

Back View: DSCN0895.jpg

Inside View:DSCN0896.jpgDSCN0897.jpg

I have Water ran inside as you can tell on the left, than i have a natural gas line there with a shutoff than to the left of the there is a white cable which is electricity!
DSCN0898.jpg

Here is the natural gas line in the greenhouse coming out of the ground with a shutoff than goes back undergroup and comes out outside of the green house!

DSCN0899.jpgDSCN0894.jpg

I dont know why that it would come out of the side because wouldnt you want it inside for whatever hooks up to it, maybe heater or some sort of humidity burner maybe.

I boarded up the back where the cooler was hook-up to, It was gone before i move in so no luck getting one.

So pretty much just have the question on the gas line going out of the greenhouse and i plan to take all the plastic sheeting off and cleaning it really good with a pressure washer!! it has some sap and dirt build up on the roof and siding. i dont get enough light!

Should stick to indoor lol, but i want some monster summer plants for 2011 on the side!!!

gas is going to be for a heater or co2. Looks normal to me, the gas line comes out of the ground, you have the shutoff valve, then it runs into the greenhouse for one of the above devices...

Thats the thing gobby the gas line with the shut off comes out of the ground INSIDE the greenhouse and the line to connect something is right outside the greenhouse and there is no holes in the side of the greenhouse for a intake vent so i have no clue how this was set up.

This was my grandpa's set-up before i moved in after a bunch of years sitting and not taken care of, im totally re-doin it for up coming 2011 grows but if i can get it all done and figured out i might be able to plant more during the winter time.

Temp range here in the winter at the lowest is 30*F i never get snow and live in a valley or so and in the summer get 110*F on the high so im goign to install a evapor. cooler for the summer.

Silasx- to be honest i couldnt tell ya, i have been lookin at them brand new on-line they range anywhere from 500.00 to 100,000.00 depends on size and luxury.

Well here is a little update on the greenhouse!!

I cleaned all the panels except for the north facing roof, just havent got to it yet!!
The roof part is a real bitch b/c the roof wont hold my weight so i have to clean a little section at a time!! But before i cleaned the panels you couldnt even see that red barrel through one of the sides!!

right side:DSCN0982.jpgDSCN0983.jpg

Left side:DSCN0984.jpgDSCN0985.jpg

Front:DSCN0993.jpgDSCN0991.jpg

Back:DSCN0989.jpg

The wood panels i have just blocking the A/c hole at the moment, im thinking about installing the A/C sometime this weekend. I probly wont have to use it the rest of the year but might as well get it all mounted up and air tight

Roof:DSCN0992.jpg

as you can tell one side dirty and one side not lol.

Well thats all the pictures i think once i get that heater im going to put some larger clones out there after i induce flowering for 3 days or so under my 1000watt. I figure that might help trigger them better and i wont have to veg. at all in there!! Pretty much all of my ideas are from Cruzer's Greenhouse grow - https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/327580-my-growitup-greenhouse-grow-2010-a.html. His grow alone has helped me out with pretty much everything.

I have a complete misting system in there and a timer with some sort of water filter, but i really think i will be taking it out i realyl dont like to mist my plants just personal pref.

Congrats man, That's cool!
Couple things I thought of. The gas line, I bet he used a gas heater inside to control temps and the by product of burning the gas being co2 is why it was inside and not outside vented in. That looks to be an old electrical line, I would be careful with that. Could be over the years its rotted. Maybe find an old lamp with a small bulb like 60 watt and try it. If you get juice go to your electrical box and start flippin breakers till you find what one it is and what the amprage it is. it says it on the breaker. See if it only controls that line or its coupled with power that goes into the house. That will give you a starting point, either run a new line or test it with something like an A/C and take your chances.

I see you got an exhaust fan on one side, I would screen the small portion above the door, keeping the panel on a hinge so it can be closed. The panels look to be 4 feet wide, I don't think they make them anymore. I would look into replacing the roof panels with the clear stuff they got out now. You will need to add a couple 2x4's to support them cause they come 2 feet wide now. What you got now will work, just the clear wasnt available when he built it or I bet he would have used those.

Start your girls on a shelf about 4 feet tall once they get like 2 feet tall plant them in the soil.
This is gonna rock dude.

Thanks so much for the input, I installed the a/c today ill get some pics up in a little bit. Ya after researching those heaters that what was there at those connections.

Im pretty good with electricity and have to say those wires are in really good condition for how old it is, but probly are hot and didnt touch the ends for dam sure, being shock isnt fun, has happen to many times with me lol.

I know that the greenhouse has a breaker for it i have outlets in the greenhouse.

yes those panels are 4ft and i agree on the roof need to be replaced i have one of those auto window openers like u got! Just not installed still sitting in the original box "old as shit" but the opener looks new :)

thats pretty much it for now, ill lokk at new panels and how much ill have to fork out in cash for a heater but besides that seems to be going good.

Hey cruzer do you have a mister set-up i do but really dont like it, lol. Not a fan of spraying my plants with water i already feed them lol. But i think ill keep it all hook'd up and stuff just in case i have low humidity in the earlyer stages of flowering, i just dont want mold and funk!!

No, I don't have misters but it isn't a bad idea. I want to set some up but not just for water. I think the best use out of them would be to apply neem oil once a week to keep them healthy up till flower. Na, ya dont want funky buds. Gonna need a res and a pump for that though. Good to hear you got a breaker out there and the wiring looks good.

Neem oil huh!! Well never actually heard of it, lol!!! I trust ya, and look into that!!

So cruzer i have an idea - they have indoor category for threads and outdoor, and everything else!!! We should start a Greenhouse thread, just a thread people can sub. to for greenhouse growers just to bullshit and stuff.

Im sub'd to a LST one from mcpurple, kinda like that, but somewhere greenhouse growers can go and bullshit, besides there actual grow journals.

Yea, I know, when I went to start the grow journal I didnt know where to put it.
Its not outdoor but its under the sun. So, I figured I would have the biggest indoor grow in that category. LOL

I think there should be a category for Green house not a thread.

Neem oil is good for plants, makes them stronger and less susceptible to mites or mildew down the road into flower.
