for the noobie that likes to build stuff or anyone really
ok parts list is this: 1 4" drain grate, 1 4" adjustable 4" angle peice thingy, 1 piece of screen, 1 jar of activated carbon from the fish isle at the pet store, and some nylon pantyhoes, you will need some scissors and duct tape thats it not sure of the cost but willing to bet its under 15 dollars maybe under 10 idk i made it out of stuff i had laying around cept the carbon it was 5 dollars.
here we go its quite simple really, put the drain in the end of the duct i cut a peice of screen and shuved it in to the bottom, then fill the nylons wit carbon, push iu down so it bulges out to fit snugly into the duct, now on mine i had a peice of carbon filter that you can get at the hardwere store near all the other filters, and cut it to size and put it in first, then fit the nylon filld with carbon in the duct, i then cut another peice of screen a lil bigger than the duct peice to push down in their to hold the carbon sak from moving and thats it i have not hooked this up yet to test as my lights off right now but will tonite here are some pics tskes 5 nim to build andits cheap enjoy
that last pic on the second row you see the work bench... under that is where my mothers live
