Alright before we start the jouney of the endless sky, he is some pics of what we have been up to. It all stared with a plant our friend gave us. We grew this up under window light to this size, we will call her #1 (95% sure it's romulin.(pic1).

Before we flowered #1 we took some clones.(pic2),built a veg room using 4/4foot fl= 2xaqua light 2x cool white 40 watts a piece. Upgraded our flower closet to a 150 watt hps with 2/2 foot 20 watt fl tubes.(pic3)

alright! some of my pics were too big so i'll just skip em for now. pic2 in the closet you can see our homeade clone bubbler system that didn't work well for us. we have 90+% rate with peat balls and stim root powder, so will stick too it.

During the time that our original plant was flowering we planted some bagseed know to be of a Purple strain (2 males=1 female).pic3-4.

We decided that because some of our romulin clones were the same age as the purple we would try to do a pollination of our weaker rom clones. pic 5 is a random pic of 4 rom clones(some topped some not).

and on.....

Another thing we tried with one of the Romulin clones was to stress train it by tying the branches down.(one broke accidently as you can see in (Pic1). pic from above (pic2) these got transplanted into a bad mix before flower and turned real yellow. I think we've got it under control now...

(Pic3) The purple plant pictured earlier was harvested and put back in veg for a few weeks so we could take clones and reflower the original.(Pic4).

(Pic5) is the purple at 2 day in flowering .....agian..it has the side branch tied down.

Ok so somewhere in there we decided we should maybe spend some money on real beans that will suit or closet(s)etc. Our choice Endless Sky from Dr.greenthumb. indica dominent and apparently flowers in 42-45 days. shit i'm happy if it's really 55 lol.

Were going to try to get a perpetual harvest going in the S.o.G method. thinkin 3-5 plants from clones every 2 week give or take(prob give).

We started with a poor mix and this is what they did. (Pic1).

transplanted into better soil.(Pic2). Group pic (Pic3).

(Pic4) is a seed that germinated from our pollinating the Romulin with the Purple type plant. And heres what we veg them all in now.(Pic5).

Looks like the ES likes the new soil.I started mine off in low quality soil too and I think I'll be doing the transplant thing, too.Just another lesson learned.Keep up the good work.

Did another transplant so here is an update!

(pic1). this is a pic of what I'm growing in. The Ratio in the bag sizes is basically the mix we use. In the pic is our 1 gallon containers. We removed the bottom inch or 2 and taped it back together so Later when we need another transplant we will just pull the tape-remove bottom and place on top of another 1 gallon bucket filled with medium.(double potting method) will save us space in our flower room.

(Pic2). we looked at the roots the other day and figured they needed a transplant.25-30 days beer cup.

(Pic3). This is how our veg cab looks now after fillin all those 1 gallon pots. Who knew? we can fit 10 pots in there perfectly. Also bought another timer for the veg cab lights, we have been on 24 lights on. Would like to gradually bring it down to 18/6. See if there is ne difference in veg growth.+

Looked into my records to see how long the 1 plant has been in our flower room. 7 weeks!!! will try to put some pics in next update of that one. ALMOST DONE. wooo hoooo lol.

(Pic4). heres another shot of the flower room.

Nice operation, mexiblunt. And they all look pretty good, too.Is that the shape of the flowering plant or did you train the stems? I hope theres lots of ladies in there for ya! P.S. How did you look at the roots?Just pop the plant out and look?:peace:

Ok it's been a couple days since we transplanted to the 1 gallon pots.

(Pic1). Still having troubles with 1-2 of the seedlings. The real bad pictured right side was like this before the transplant, so I'm not sure what's up. Gonna try to check the soil ph tonite when I get home from band rehearsal. Looks like overwatering prob i know it's very unlikely as it was very dry when transplanted.

This plant also has had wierd looking leaves from the get go.

On a Lighter note, these pic are for Jaymes.

(pic2) you can kinda see the new leaves right beside the horn looking things.

(Pic3),(pic4) The plant that we trained started by clumsy hands and the branch broke and was lying on the side of the pot. When it looked like it would live we decided to tie the rest of the branches down. you can see the ropes going to the bucket. once the plant got bigger we needed to add the cardbord ring so we had something wider to tie to.

(pic5) heres the one that almost done. 1-2 weeks left. This one was put into flowering at a height of 5.25 inches and had 5 nodes. It's not that huge but has real solid nugs and nice smell.

Well this will probably get it's own thread but here is an update on the endless sky first. The problem that i've had since the begining is continuing on.

Pic1. 2 of the endless have had leaves browning from the tips slowly enveloping the entire leaf just when the new set of leaves looks good they start the same thing doing it agian. ignore the terrible topping job.

Pic2. The third E.S showed sings the worst at the start of what looked like overwatering, but developed spots on the leaves (unseen in pic) leading me to believe maybe it's a ph prob rather, as the new growth is doing good.

PIC3. you can see how many sets have browned and dried up.

PIC4. the healthy growth of the plant in pic2. from top.

I have leeched the soil of these plants yesterday with ph neutral water, adding a 1/4 strenght liquid veg fert in the last 2 litres of leech. I haven't found a solid way to check my soil ph without a meter but i will get a meter as soon as I can $$$$. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON PLANT OR METERS?

As bad as this looks I think it is a great learning experience as I have 3 other strains growing the exact same conditions with no problems(next post). So I will also send the breeder an e-mail with this info and cross my fingers on a response.

found out some of my records were off when our unknown plant looked pretty well done it turns out it's 8 weeks today in flower (pic1) these leaves turned yellow around the same time as the other problems I had. Don't let the mirror image fool you it was flowered at 5 1/4 inches is now at 21 inches.

Also put these into flower room today. Pic 2. romulin clone at 29 days old 5.5 inches. Pic3. Purple clone from re-veg 20 days old 4.5 inches. Pic 4. Romulin x Purple our breed 23 days pictured on left with a purple clone on right.

Flower room is also looking good will try to post some pic tommoro. As always ne questions or comment welcome.

Hey mexiblunt. So how are your ES seedlings?Did you test the ph of the soil?I'm not sure whats wrong, if anything, maybe it's just a shock related thing from the transplant? I'm afraid I can't give you any advice other than to wait and see and treat them gently.I'm still kinda winging it with my ES and so far nothing to terrible has happened and I follow practically the same methods as you.At least you know you've got some nice nugs on the way! from that other plant. How far away is she from maturity?I'm looking forward to an update to see if anything has changed with the ES.Keep up the good growing!:peace:

Ok new plan....hahaha

Right now I have more room in the flower room than the veg so...

I'm gonna put the 2 sickest of the 3 E.S into the 12/12 and let em do there thing. they are 5-6 inches and have 8-9 nodes also topped. Gonna put pop the bottoms off and place them on a pot with new soil mix. sunshine/compost/lime perlite maybe? If I get ne1 fems and they get healthier I might just re-veg it.either way it makes more room in veg for this.
as for the 3rd E.S it is looking like it may come around so I will use this plant as a learning exp as I'm 100% on my prob yet don't want to come out of this blind as to what saved or didn't save these plants.

yesterday we soaked 4 seeds in water. 2 bubble gum seeds from 1999. and 2 tutti fruity 70's strain. the seeds from these are bout 4-6 years old. seems all have sprouted a taproot in 1 day. So we will see how these start in the new mix and if they go good we will germinate some more E.S

I hope everyone lost interest in this journal already lol. Had alot of troubles with the Dr.greenthumb seeds, so we grew out a bunch of other bagseed, added a 250 watt hps along with our 150 watthps, bigger area, etc.

PIC1 This is the purple type plant that we re-vegged at harvest time.

The other photos are the 2 dr.greenthumb indoor mix that we did get to grow, these were flowered at 4-5 inches. 4-5 nodes. The last pic is a pic of the 2 mix with 2 clones that are vegging untill the mix are done, then it will be time for a new journal titled something like THE SIDEWAYZ PLANTS., as we are going to try turning these clones on thier side and tie the main branch down as to make all the branches become tops. And maximize light penetration. hopefully.

Well i think that's it for this journal, Might post some harvest pics yet but that will be about it.
