Well, I decided to do a little grow journal so you all can see my progress, and hopefully give me some tips if anything goes wrong:mrgreen: I am currently growing 8 White Widow, and 2 Skunk19xHaze in two 18 gallon tubs. I plan on updating weekly, or maybe even daily, hey even hourly lol if you all are interested.

My setup

400w hps
exhaust 70cfm
intake with fan
Fan
5 aquarium pumps
ro machine
Flora series nutes
TDS/Ph/Temp meters
And more light as they get bigger, dont know what yet

Ok well here are my first pics, my plants at day number 9 under the hps. Just gave them there first small dose of nutes 2 days ago. Im using tap water right now, but ordered the Ro machine which I will be using soon. And there is a little runt that I may have to kill. See if you can finds him.lol Had a little heat problem at the beginning but its all good now.

They look great Nasty. I see you are doing DWC for your seedlings - do you intend to do that throughtout your entire grow?

Actually, once i can determine sex I was planning on putting the females in their own 5 gallon buckets. Or take clones, and let those grow in a pvc flood and drain system. But I really don't want to wait 4 or 5 months for harvest, so Ill probably just take the hopefully 4 or 5 females in separate buckets setup. Yep thats my plan. Unless the roots get tangled, then thats another story.

Well, by the time I determine sex, that should be between 4 to 6 weeks, maybe sooner, then take the clones, root them, grow them out a bit, then flower. Im not exactly sure if it would take 4 or 5 months but its longer than I want to wait. Unless i split my room up into half flower, half veg, but my space is limited and its to much trouble. So.. I think growing about 4 plants with good veg time should give me what I desire. :)

Well today I added some aquarium rocks to my lava rock medium. The 3 inch pots seems alot sturdier now and blocks most of the light off the roots. Looks pretty cool too.

Here are some close ups of my skunk and Widow at day 11. I just gave them there first nutes yesterday so I hope they take off soon. The first one ins the skunkxhaze and the second is my Widow. They are looking real healthy especially after being to close to the light their first days. But they are recovering great :blsmoke:

Everything looks really nice. Are you adjusting the PH at all? It's easy to do and probably one of the most important things you can do. The plants get "nutrient lockout" when the PH isnt right. Most tap water is not what your plants are looking for Mine is 8.0-9.0. Plants wont grow so well in that range. They prefer it between 5.0-6.0. What kind of nutes are you using? Also your going to love your RO filter. No more carrying all that water in and out of the car. Well I guess you skipped that part, but the filter will pay for itself over and over again. Great investment, I had one for my salt water aquarium setup. I also bottle it and use it for drinking water. Make sure you get a TDS meter, two reasons, 1 is to make sure the filter is working correctly, 2 to track you nute levels. Keep us posted with lots of pics. I love pics :-)

I just wanted to add im sure you knew this but the RO filter doesnt effect the PH, so you still need to adjust if its not right.

Yours are destroying mine as far as growth goes. I am starting to see the benefits of a bigger light. I'm only using a 250 but I might add another 250 or maybe a 400 when I start to flower. They are around the same age though so I will have something to compare mine to as the grow goes on. Good luck man.
