Hello all, I've been doing some homework for awhile and have put together this setup
Strain: Chiesel
Tent: Secret Jardin Dark Room II (2x2x5) situated inside a very ventilated open sliding door closet
Lights: One Kessil H350 Magenta LED light
Ventilation: Passive intake with an Active Air 4 inch Inline 165 CFM fan afixed top a 200 CFM Phresh Carbon Filter outside of the tent exhausting/sucking air out of the tent and blowing it into the phresh filter outside the tent (note both the filter and fan are outside the tent due to space constriction)
Stepless fan speed controller
Pots: 3 Gallon smart pots, seedlings started in solo cups
Temperature monitor: Hygro wireless
Soil: Foxfarm Ocean blend
Nutes: Foxfarm 3 pack (Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom)
PH meter: Hannah Instruments HI 98107 pHep pH tester
PH solutions: Standard Reference solution 4.01, Standard reference solution 7.0, General Hydroponics
8/22 Placed seeds in damp paper towel in bag
8/23 Placed a 10 hour hot hands pack in the cupboard in which the seeds were germinating to help with heat
8/24 Did nothing
8/25 12:00 AM Opened bag to find popped seeds with tap roots around 3-4 mm. Planted the 3 chiesel seeds in 3 solo cups about 1/4 inch into the soil, lightly watered the soil before planting, placed the 3 cups under the light. The light timer is set to turn on at 2 AM and go off at 8 PM, I have the Kessil H350 Magenta about 43 inches above the plants.
The passive intake covers are sealed still, and the fan needs replaced/returned, a new fan will be here in a few days, so I have those things and a Phresh 60x Microscope coming in the mail. Couple questions, how is the light height? Should I be covering those cups w/ plastic wrap? I'm going to buy a spray bottle but have just poured about 15-20ml of water into each of those cups before planting the seeds, rap root down, carefully with tweezers. No nutes added yet. The water I used was distilled water, nothing added/changed/measured. Any advice, criticisms, etc. are all appreciated, I want to do everything right and want to know if I've already messed up.
Update: Shortly after uploading those pics and posting this topic I covered the cups with plastic as the light came on.
