Super Silver Haze Greenhouse Feminized Seeds x 10

10 1.5" rock wall cubes and propgater

biobizz all mix 50L x 2

biobizz grow/bloom,Epson salt and Cha Ching

ph meter and ec wand

fluorescent lights, 2 tubes 3ft each 21w

Grow CFL Lamp 150w and shade

600w dimmable ballast, air cooled hood, mh/hps bulbs

8" filter and some rvk fans for lights,filter and air flow

also have 2 oscillating fans

i would like to yeild about 10 oz's off the 6 best looking plants (4 weaker plants i will be throw away in the veg stage) and take cutting form the strongest plants and keep the best as a mother plant

the strain is not a high yielding strain but a very high quality smoke and that's what i am looking for

so here goes, i am in the 7 day since i planted the seeds in the cubes and a few have stated to sprout

i have left some water to stand for 24hours and ph the water to 5.8

as i have taken the lid off, i have to water them every day to keep the cubes wet

they are under the t5 tubes about 4" from the light and the temp under the t5 is about 28c lights on and 26 lights off

the lights are off for 6 hours, which cuts out the hottest part of the day 12pm -6pm so the temp stays under 30c

i also have a oscillating fan to keep the air moving gentile over the seedling so i don't stress them

These seedling are 9 days old from seed and most of them have roots
7 seeds germinated and grown between 1.5" and 2.5" so i kept these for now and put them in small pots with some soil and ph water to 6.1

I will raise the ph over time to 6.5

The other 3 seeds have started but as they are slow and weak, i only wanted the strongest seedling
so i throw them away

day 11 from seed, and i be calling this 1 day in veg

I did leave the other 3 seedling under light and kept one more of them to make 8 plants
so i could have 8 plants under 2 600w light's in flower

will be adding this plant to the next lot of pics

still only giving them water when the soil has dried out a good amount , ph to 6.5, tempter 28c and humidity 60

in the pic's, 5 of the plants do not need watering and the 2 plants with the lighter color soil,
tell me the soil is getting dry and i need to give them some water

by letting the soil dry out a lot the plants will gain root mass quick and reduce the chance's of me over watering the plants

just an update including the 8th plant

3rd day in veg

some of my leaves are twisting a little because my ph pen was not working
read the water as ph 6.5 so i watered the plants and had a little water left and double checked the water
it was only 6.1 so for some reason the ph pen miss read the ph the first time

any way this is how the plants are doing

5th day of veg

there still under the t5's and
all the plants are dry to day and need a drink

so i used a 2ltr jug and ph the water and dropped them in one at a time to make sure all the soil is soaking wet and there is not any dry roots

8 days into veg and they are looking good

all the plants are about 2" in high and 3-5" wide

and have not been water for 3 days and still look like its going to be 2 more days before they need any water

I have grown a few plants and got good yeilds
But this time i want it to be all about the quality not the yeild

and I have been told it's the best quality smoke you can get

So its time to find out

cant wait to see our babies grow buds!

then... after 4 long months, i will enjoy a hard winter, with my northern light strain, in northern europe, with the dark and the cold and the trolls out and about!

hi freddyoh

my plan is to re pot them into 14ltr pots tonight and top them next Friday, veg for a week more and turn over to flower

week 2-3 of flower, when the plant shows sex (first sign of bud growth) i will use bamboo and lst the plant to reduce the height and increase the canopy

if i was growing 9 plants under 1 600w hps, i would re pot and flower now and get a good yield 1-2 oz's a plant

but i want to veg for two weeks more and i can have 9 plants under 2 600w light and double the yield 2-3 oz's per plant and be good in cold winter to sit back, watch tv and get stoned with the best home grown bud you can get

8 super silver haze and one cutting i was given

here's some pic's

the smallest plant is 6" and the largest plant is 8" in height (out of the 8 ssh)

i think this strain will grow 2-3 times its height in flower as it takes over 10 weeks in flower

my cutting takes 8-9 weeks to flower and is a big yielding plant

i have turned my 600w down to 400w and put a 600w mh bulb in the air cooled shade

this will give the plant the best light at this stage and will make the plant grow a lot quicker over the next two weeks they

should grow 10" more in the first week under this light
