Grew a little outdoors in the past. Now i decided to try my green thumb indoors dwc 600w hps/mh 4 in exhaust fan tubed through light... plant o add a carbon filter wheni decide to flower... but now starting to veg. 8* 5 gal buckets 60 gallon air pump.. probably will add another to setup with walls. 6 in air stones 1 in each..... but these work good enough for now. also will paint the bucket before next season. idea ont hat one will be benefit more fromteh light there.. this grow was mostly duct light and buckets focus.

5-1 started seeds - friend said they were pretty good and from maine. so we'll see. mainly wanting to try my setup and get money saved for better walls. before i invest in seeds.

5-5 four seeds have hatched and put into buckets. my water starts ph 7.2ish ugh. learning to get it down ph down ran low ordered.

5-8 many seal issues arise. worked on bucket perfection air way too hot. co2 added first rooted plant 3/4 in out of bottom of its cup... using 3.75 in clay.... 3 more spouts 1 soon to transfer

5-12 possible root rot. more leaky bucket issues forced me into over filling others to fix a leak and not waste the water and nutes.. probably a bad move.. i dampered the oxygen too much. 2nd pump this would not have been an issue. signs are very minor and seems in very early stages if it is even root rot .. might just be hard water build up.. like i said my water here is horrid. either way did a shot peroxide /water rinse mix on the roots. if issues persist action may be taken i may even scrap the plant. hence why i started a few extra babies 7 plnts in transferred buckets now. 1 has a new seal drying duct fan finally came in as did ph down. the liquid seemed way less effective than the powder has. it came yesterday and 6 of the 7 now have perfect ph range 5.8-6.1.

fan added cased high temps of 95-100 f to drop to a stable 83/86 f for my setup i thought the tube light would be best for heat control. now that a fan is in place its working like a dream. i have a yeast/ sugar water co2 mix. so my temps are better.. my water temps range from 68 low to around 74 high. but were reachiing 78-80 on hot days without the exhaust fan in place.. so tehy have stabled out too. i just hope my baby isnt really rotting.. couple days will tell for sure. so yeah next post a pic

5-13 ... 5 plants showing signs of vegging. trimmed root rot off. clean water... seeing if it will take trimmed leaves on sick plants. to help lower the weight needed while i get it to re root. lucky they were young and it was caught right away. 20 oz frozen water bottles a few times a day helping. perfect ph.

5-14 the odors of rot are completely dissipated. the trimmed roots seems to have done the trick on that. along with fresh water/ nutes. and maintaining better water temps. ordered a large cooler. gonna put the healthiest plants int here. for extra cold better output. maybe next round get a second that way i can test both methods. also ordered another air pump more stones..... more oxygen will help. my readings lead me towards cooler water and more oxygen for my hot box . the cooler is white.. now will have 2 * 60 gallon air pumps. should do the trick. 12 more 6 inch stones. plan to put 8 inside the 30 gallon cooler. the drain can use a hose. so it will be easy to add a hose to drain it without lifting. oh yeah! pumped. i'll get pics before i put water/ nutes in to show how i do the air line and such.
