12/12 from seed is a bad idea. you should use a light cycle of 24 on 0 off, 20 on 4 off or 18/6 at least untill the roots are developed.

Let's see if putting pics here through Dropbox works

Wee it did! Ok my clones are kinda sucky so im going to leave them like this a couple days to see if they make it. I didn't look at them very well I must admit. I got them from a shop I haven't tried. Talk about the hook up though, the clones were 7 bucks and being a new patient they threw in a joint, an edible and a $15 gram. So even if the clones croak I still made out. But yeah, in the future it helps to really check them over well. It didn't help that the bud tender was hotter than hell and distracting me :)

aye man...just keep rotating plants in and you'll be golden...I use 2 150watt HPS's right now(planning on upgrading to at least a 400 here in the next few months)...and I've been vegging under 6 CFL's amounting to 148 of real watts :)

Well my goal is this, get some more plants going first and foremost. I want to try a blackstar 240 in this cabinet and if it works well I will get a 4x2x5 cabinet and a second blackstar. I need to get past Christmas first before I can think of spending any money on myself.

The sickly platinum clone pulled through, I didn't think she was going to make it. Had the 150 about 3 feet away and gave her a little super thrive. They've all been transferred to their new permanent homes.

Gave a minor shot of nutes this morning, the clones are looking a bit n deficient. I had to open the cab and put a fan on the babies, they aren't big enough to get any wiggle from the exhaust Fante way the bigger plant did. I might have to add a small clip on since I will be doing smaller plants now. The peacock babies are looking heavy Indica to me already. Dark green and fat leaves with lot of dimension.

Im just putting these up for my own reference so I can compare growth later when I get an LED to try out.

Look at the peacock showing that indica! Ive never grown such a dominant plant, should be a short fatty! Im going to breed out some seeds if I get a male in the bunch, Id like to just keep the strain going and also cross it with the platinum if it works out.

Not very exciting I know. Little plants arent very fun to watch. These platinum clones really could have used some veg time, they were so beat up in the first place and going straight into 12/12 didnt help but I cant let my emotions in the way if this is going to be a perpetual 12/12 cabinet! LOL I think of that little guy in the party cup as a spare tire, ready to jump in and replace a male if need be. You know with my current tolerance I can get by with about an 1/8 or 1/4 a month :) So I think I should be able to average that! Like Ive said before, I only started smoking again in August after 20 years. The problem is that Im going more and more for the sativas, I cant hang with the indica stone. So maybe Ill just keep growing these other little peacocks and find someone to trade meds with in the future.

I wanted to show some better pics of my "supercrop" you can also see less than 24 hours later how they've already changed back into reaching for the light. Its a plant that just wants to grow! On the peacocks, isnt it interesting how a plant started under 12/12 doesnt stretch?

They all got a bit of nutes today, PBG 1tsp/qt for the peacocks and a hefty FFBB 1tbsp/qt for the platinum clones. Supercropping/pinching is something you have to stay on top of, those clones have been pinched and bent a good 4 times so far. Most the time the plant recovers within about 24 hours to ohh 75% of its previous height. Now that christmas is over I can focus on getting some money spent on me for a LED to try soon!

Couple with the HPS off. Its kind of funny only females have shown so far, with my luck I wont get a male because I actually want some seed out of this batch. Its murphys law! Im still hopeful, the chances of 100% females is pretty unlikely. In the future my plants will stay in the solo cup till theyre sexed for space and $ saving purposes.

I've decided to let at least this first set of plants finish under this light, then the plan is to try a blackstar 240 for another set. Afaik the bs pulls around 133 watts so it should be able to equal this 150. If it does well I'll get a second light and a 3x2 tent to double them up in. It will be several months before all is said and done but I should have a pretty good comparison journal by the time I'm finished.
