Grapefruit Haze/Rocklock 400 watt Cabinet Grow

well everyone i think im gonna do a grow journal (if anyones interested and wants to see) im down to give any advice if people ask, these are some pics of my current grow so im hoping these pics are enough to entice my little stoner friends on RIU to keep subbed....the blue venom will be pulled in a few days and the smaller diablo OG kush will be probably pulled in a bout 2 or 3 weeks...needless to say the 3 foot tall blue venom is nothing short of motherfucking BOMB, it reeks like u cant imagine and it looks like a dream come true...

anyways, ive had awesome results so far so i thought maybe someone might wanna see this step by step and maybe i can help some new growers cause i needed help at first as well...theyll eventually be in my home made grow cabinet, saved a ton of money


ITS CINCO DE MAYO so lets get this party started...lol..well heres the pics of the babies, got a little humidifier in the closet for now, 20/4 for lights...

like it and subbed, are you going to build a cab? or already have one? lighting? space? i am trying to build one for a friend, and would be interested to see how you built yours. i remember those plants blue venom.... that clicked from another post somewhere lol

hey convict, i have a 3 x 2 x6 cabinet i built in my garage, it has a 400 watt light, 2-80cfm pc fans for intake (during veg)2-110cfm pc fans for exhaust...i got the light from htgsupply.com, its been working great if i wasnt flowering in there now id throw the MH conversion bulb in it and veg these little clones but after i pull those 2 ill bring the new ones in it, heres some pics of the cabinet (last grow)...i got the cabinet for 90 bucks from lowes and did everything else my self, i dont have to be stealth but its actually pretty stealth,tiny tiny light leaks only when the 400 is on, but nothing that would effect the sleep period...it hums a little and totally smells but other than that id consider it very legit and clean...

so as expected the little grapefruit haze and rocklock are really liking the cfl hood, i like rooting and early veg with this hood cause its not so intense, and it cost cents to run and like 12 bucks to make,lol its been one day and they are a nice healthy green and i see new growth and baby fan leaves opening up more...nothing exciting but heres a few more pics from just now

using fox farm ocean forest soil with flora nova nutes on this grow...during last 3 weeks of flower i cut off the flora nova bloom and use water. molasses and koolbloom until flush...

going to post some pics of the blue venom getting pulled tomorrow night....

hey guys, i have a question.....while these are still young im gonna get one more clone, i cant fit it in the cabinet, luckily i live in a part of cali where all the local shops are very close and saturated heavy with clones, the place i go to has all these clones. does anyone have any experience with any of these, im going tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated....which one should i get

how long are you planning on growing? cause kush takes awhile in my experience. and ive smoked bubblegum, tastes like doublebubble, which i didnt really like. thats mine input, for what its worth. heard black domina is awesome. heard.

well i guess it doesnt really matter if they take a tiny bit longer to flower but the main thing is that i would like it to grow nice, yield high, and be a very desireable finished product...i think im gonna go with the blackberry kusg cus i seen some pics of it on here and it looks great with a deep purple color and ive heard people talk about it, well see....i gotta check out the roots on them when im there too...

Subd bro. I hope ur luck goes better than mine with the rocklock. mine hermed after I topped it. One of my smoke buddies grew some orange diesel and I fn loved it, but that's me. Good thought on checkin the roots of the clones, I would be lookn everywhere for spidermites and other lousy critters so u don't accidentally fuck up and get an infestation, but I'm sure u kno. I wish I lived in cali and could buy clones

Those are all great strains. I'm a total OG head myself, so I personally would be more interested in Diablo and straight OG and maybe Headband. But another deciding factor is which ones look the healthiest? If they are all equally healthy looking...I would say if doesn't say OG, pass.

Stay away from Blackberry Kush, Orange Diesel... and no way in hell any respectable grower will grow anything called Blue Banana...Lol

Also, how knowledgeable are the guys at this collective? I've gotten sketchy clones from places where the guys all shrug their shoulders to my questions.

natural thanks bro, im with luckily for me the place i go has an actual clone guy who does all the cuttings in-house, hes very knowledgable and a cool guy, he always has the best, no critters and bone white strong roots

lordjin, im with you, i wanna get an OG strain as well but im doing a diablo og right now, not a big fan of the og kush but i like master bubba k, it all boils down to what clones look strong and take it from there...i know for a fact if i had my heart set on a certain one and seen that it had a weak ass root ball, i probably wouldnt get it but the input is very helpful, why do u say stay away from blackberry kush?
