300w Cfl Whitecastle Single Plant Grow

Hey guy this is what i got.
3x3x7 tent
10 30w 2000 lumen cfls 27k and 65k
i've had trouble with seeds, but thought i'd try again with Nirvana's package deal 5 fem white widow, 5fem white castle, soil tabs and a germination kit.
The plan is to grow one full size plant.

I just have the two lights on now but will add lights more lights hanging down on four sides, two on top and two down each side. i have spliters and lots of extra bulbs so i can have 7:3 of what ever colour i need.

so now if i can only get a seed to crack lol

Ok so, it took a couple seeds but i got one. This one is a White Widow. Its 3 days from germination. The lights are 10" inches above the temp is 24C.

I want to lower the lights but i don't want to burn her, what should I do?

Also when should i put a fan on?

Well this is what i would personally do

I would only have the one light on the plant , the 6500k / 6400k bulb

Not the 2700k

keep it about 2 to 3 " above your plant so it wont stretch like its doing now

10" is way to high for cfl`s

my hps is only 8 " from mine

after a few weeks add some more light , 6500 / 6400k

Did you water your plant before the pic

if not make sure your not over watering

let your soil get pretty much dry before watering again

you just need to do what the rest of us had to do.. teach yourself!

your too new to growing to understand this.. but once you get a few years under your belt, you'll think back at this post.. and think.. "my God, he was right."

You need to do research on germination; planting the seed correctly; what lights to use during veg; what lights to use during flowering; what nutes to use and when; checking PH levels; Knowing when the plant is ready for harvesting; flushing the soil prior to harvesting; harvesting the plant correctly; drying the product correctly; and finally.. curing the product correctly... etc.. there's a TON of things you'll have to learn in order to do everything correctly. Otherwise, you'll never make it all the way to harvest.

Your nor going to learn it all over night either.. its going to take you some time to learn everything and get to where it comes second nature to ya. Took me almost a full year before I got the basics of growing down to where I didn't need any help. So, good luck to ya.. because nobodies going to walk you through each and every step of the way.

Their praying to the light lol

you can raise them another inch if you want

but their not gonna get all stretchy on you now

your gonna have tighter node spacing and a fuller looking plant then a tall skinny anorexic looking plant

Its all good got home from work and there was noticeable growth. And I loosely built up dirt around the stem.

Day 8

Things are moving along nicely. Leafs look a lil dry, but otherwise ok (nothing a lil water can't fix).

Its getting a lil bit big so i used a spliter to give more light. do u think its too much? I'm checking the temp every hour or so seems stable.

Day 11
I didn't like the amount of light i was getting out of the two bulbs, one bulb with the reflector was noticeably better, so i switched back for a day. Now what i did was i put a splitter in the other socket to add more light from the side. The first set of fan leaves has been curled up for several days now but does not seem to be getting any worse (or better). Also the tip of one of the second set has a lil bit of nute burn, but all the other leaves seem fine.

I measured her and she is 6" wide and 2.5" high

Day 15
I have some sad news, while i was working on my light set up i had the plant out of the closet, and if my dog doesn't come in and take a bite out of it. I was lucky and caught him before he took another bite, all is well, and lesson learned, dogs and pot plants don't mix.

I finished the first half of my light set-up, but once i have all my lights adjusted its hard to take pics, i'm hoping that will get easier as the plants gets bigger, but anyways here's the lights what do u think?

I love him his a crazy lil thing, thats him in the pic shit-zu/pug.

Its cool that there drawn to it, shows natural it is. he doesn't eat lettuce, you know what i mean?

Day 19
Only a few days left until i start flowering. She's 6" high and has 5 leaf sets, which is good because on my next grow I want to try topping after 5 sets down to the 2nd set and making the top in to a clone.

Day 24

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, life's been getting in the way (broken keyboard, dead camera battery etc.).

So i took theses pics on day 24 which was my last day of veg.

It grew into the lights too much and you can see the burns

since these pictures where taken I've added more lights and made a ventilation system out of my Stanley blower and some duct work with a diy carbon filter. More pics to come as soon as my lights come on and can get in there

Day 43, Day 18 Flower

Things are moving along nicely, lots of bud sites. The ventilation system i installed is working nicely, but will have to wait a few more weeks to really test my carbon filter.

Thanks Mort, thats kinda what i'm going for. 1 plant with lots of light! I hope i can get 3 oz off one plant.

I actually have more lights to add when i get a chance.
