2x Samsara Supersonic Cristal Storm Autoflowering feminized

:?:Info:

We have used genetic autoflowering that led to the Low Ryder, hybridized with one of our best mothers of Black Domina, and backcrossed to maintain the pattern autoflowering. The plant will remain intact sensory characteristics of the mother Black Domina, thus maintaining the typical aroma that everyone has ever felt in your closet and how much we like. Grow roughly for about 12 days, after which they enter into a rapid period of flowering. Supersonic Cristal Storm will give good results in 65 days after germination. Grown indoors with a photoperiod of 20 / 4 and adequate pot size for proper root development, we can expect crops that can exceed 45 grams per plant indoors, while outside is able to achieve the 75gr.

Apparently, it's a pretty potent Indica. I'll find out mid-May.

The plants were germinated on March 12th, 2011. Here they are at Day 16.

I planted them in 2.4 gallon Air pots. There are 3 bagseed plants in water bottles on the sides and they are doing well. All fem!

Hmm.. Deficiencies? The plants are the same age, yet one of them grows much slower. The biggest plant def exploded with growth in just 8 days.

genetics. every seed is going to have distinct characteristics, even in stabilized strains. they are distinct individuals. they both look very healthy, i don't see anything wrong. maybe you could benefit from a yeast/sugar co2 generator, somewhat labor intensive as youhave to change the mix one or two times a week, but yeast and sugar are cheap and a half gallon jug and some tube cost very little.

Thanks for helping. +rep.

I don't mind changing the mix every week. Coco coir on it's own is somewhat labor intensive. Tubing you say? Where would I run them through. I thought just mixing yeast and sugar in a bottle and sticking it in the grow box would help.

co2 is heavier than air, so you want it to emit the gas above and behind your fan for rapid dispersion.

nice grow, can't wait to see the results. i'm really interested in samsara's sativa autos, but can't find anyone growing any of there autos anywhere. so keep us posted, i really want to see if these are 100% auto and feminized or not. what are your lights on 20/4?

Thanks, will do. Yeah, they are feminized for sure. I keep a mixed spectrum on @ 20/4. Gonna do this throughout the entire grow too.

Well, this is ironic, but the plant that was growing the slowest just doubled in size and is looking healthier than what 'was' the best plant. I've been giving each plant the same amount of nutes and water. Genetics can be minfucking.

Anyway, I got up this morning and saw the 'first' best looking plant with some problems. The bottom leaves started yellowing and some leaves have brown spots. Thought this might be a nitrogen deficiency so I used 15ml of PBP grow and PBP bloom in the watering gallon. Seems to be doing better now. Slowly getting greener I think.

I'll have pictures on Day 30, which is April 11th.

Today, I raised up the lights so that they are at least 8-10 inches away from the plants. I can't move them any lower in the rubbermaid. Hope this won't be a problem. I don't mind some stretching.

My lights are:
1x 40w/150w equivalent round CFL odor eating bulb (surprisingly works, but needs fresh airflow) 2700k
2x 27w/100w equivalent 6500k CFL
3x various sized 2700k bulbs
I think I just might have enough lumens and watts for 2 plants. I just wish they don't grow popcorny and airy. I want them real dense.

On day 28, I will be doing a Clearex flush to both plants to keep things clean and prevent nute lockout.

If anyone wants to give me advice to help my grow out, I'd very much appreciate it! You'll get a +rep.

Thanks in advance

Day 30:

Major problems with one plant after flushing.
One of the plants showed bottom yellowing leaves on Day 27,28, so I decided to do a flush because it looked like nute lockout. I tried giving it more nitrogen, thinking it was a deficiency but it just looked worse the next day. This was the first time I ever flushed a plant. I had a lot of runoff. A few hours later, the plant drooped, looking miserable. The yellowing leaves shriveled up and some fell. The stems are bending and the plant can't even hold itself up. Which is why it's being held up by a pencil. This was the plant that started out looking GREAT as opposed to the other which started out terribly but has increased growth 10x fold with no problems. The other good plant was also flushed. No problems...

I'm not doing anything to the sick plant. I'm just going to leave it alone and see if it recovers after drying. The leaves and stems are still green, which is a good sign. But it's so damn droopy. I'm feeling sick just looking at it.

As you can see, the other plant EXPLODED with growth. It's also started to shoot out pistils here and there, showing fem signs. Can't wait to see it grow some bud.

If anyone can help me save my other plant, shoot me any tips please.

The sick plant just died due to root rot. Tried transferring it and it was too weak. Stem broke right off even with delicate handling. RIP

I don't think I would have been able to fit 2 plants anyway.. At least judging by how big the healthy plant is. It's getting really bushy and I'm sure it'll take up the entire space of the tote.

Hopefully I get over 2oz off of it!

Damn. Sorry to see your plant died. Overwatering?

I like these rubbermaid grows though so I will be checking back.

Yeah, it's nbd right now though. I'm disappointed but 2 plants in the tote would have been desperately fighting for space. The plant I have now has gotten really bushy. No signs of deficiencies like the other plant. No spots. Nothing. Just a whole load of solid green leaves. Pictures later today.

Day 33: Just fed and gave her a spray. I have a feeling she's going to grow big enough to hit the lights. She's about 8 inches away from them right now with a month left until harvest (according to the 65 day lifespan). Any good ways to prevent the plant from getting to close to the lights? I feel like tying it down might be a problem because I didn't train it from the beginning.

Is it just me or does it look to stretched? I'm afraid it looks somewhat lanky and spaced out for an Indica. Then again, my lights are pretty far and there's no way I can move them closer.. Hope this doesn't reduce yield.

you should LST that girl. maximize your space.

Yeah, I'm thinking about it for sure. I feel like it's a little too late to LST though. Not sure where to start because of how old it is. Just train the main stem to bend lower each day?

you want to bend the top down below the level of the bend, this will cause a hormone reaction that compells the branches to grow as tops. just don't break the stem.

Great simple, short and sweet explanation. I'll get started on that right now.
