Bag Seed My First Grow

Hi guys no better place to start a journal than here. These are just bag seeds from good stuff I have acquired over the years. This is 15 days after becoming planted on 3 26w CFL's. Using Scotts Premium Potting Soil. This is my first grow

Thanx! I hope they do well I know i will never get HPS yield but it will have to do I spent all my money on the camera instead of a light Next grow I'm going to do a 1000w hps setup. Im going to do 3-4 27w CFL per plant this time and see how I do hopefully this will be enough if you have any suggestions let me know. These plants are so much different from each other I have no Idea what they are I have had these seeds forever anybody had anything similar?

either the camera is makin the plants look good or the plants jus look good, lol... nice camera and nice lookn plants too!

lol,,funnyguy,,hey,,no matter where ya put them,,they look awesome for 15 days,,I got a small veg cab,,can hold 6,,but right now I have one plant in it,,gonna try just the cfl's on it,,I have 4- 42 watters on it now,,and could get a few more if needed,,my cab is a piece of a stand up wall unit,,got a fan inside,,and a bathroom exhaust fan venting it,,the shelf goes up and down,,full mylar,,or that diamond mylar stuff,,I have 2 hps lights,,a 4 and a 6,,just usin the 6 right now,,in a closet,,those pics are great,,and the plants look really tight,,very healthy,,here's a pic of my wifes 3 day old,,that is living in my veg unit,,good luck with your grow

Yeah im a noobie with growing I need all the pointers I can get here. Guess Ill go by some more cfl's tomorrow. Here are some more close ups. Thought you guys might like them. If you got any critisism or anything you see I need to change let me know. And yes I know i need bigger pots but I think they will be alright for the next week or two dont you? Your wifes plant looks great for 3 days HoLE

your plants will look bad for the first time,,when you need to transplant them,,as long as nothing else goes wrong,,one day,,you'll open the door,,or whatever,,and go Oh My God,,and all it will mean is,,time too transplant,,I can't remember if you said what you have em in,,but I had seedlings last like 3 weeks,,,in a 6 inch pot,,again,,good luck

Could I use one of these as a pot?
Dont see why not just drill some holes in the bottom and good to go eh?

If there anyone out there that happens to look at this that has done a complete CFL grow. How many lights did you use per plant and how were they arranged.

check out Hotnsexymilf's journal,,or Rocky Mountain High's,,pretty sure they are usin cfl's,,hope this helps

Ok well she has like 8 bulbs for one plant and theres no way I'm going to have 24 bulbs down with my plants for and be on 24hrs a day. Thinking about a T5 setup or 400w HPS I guess because i don't plan on ever growing more than 3-4 plants tops at a time.

A T5 setup like this
2 Lamp 2' foot T5 GROW LIGHT w two 6500K T-5 HO bulbs - (eBay item 180194886556 end time Jan-12-08 12:04:37 PST)

Would this be enough for 3 plants or would I need a four footer.

Ok I've did some more research and I've decided to go with a 400w from HTG
It comes with a MH and HPS bulbs.

Ok here is day 16 just ordered my 400 mh and hps hopefully it wont take to long to get here I'm going to transplant them tomorrow into 5 gallon buckets tomorrow. Lets hear the comments. Oh has anyone ordered from High Tech Garden Supply before does the shipping take long?

i'm glad you went with the 400 over the T5, nice choice. what is the humidity in your grow environment?....maybe is low? the only thing i can think to suggest is that you ease up on the nutes for a while. how abnout a pic of all the plants together? it seems a bit early to be worrying about having to repot.

Ok so I transplanted them today when I took them out of the old pot the roots were like a sheet of paper around the outer rim and bottom of the pot its like they were cramped or something. Take a look 2 of them look really droopy are they dying?

yes they seem a tad over watered but they look fantastic otherwise.

UPDATE:Well after a couple hours in the new pot there starting to lift back
up.

Ok now I need to know how much room three plants are going to need in square feet. Can anyone give me a round about guess? Im going to be getting my 400w MH/HPS kit tomorrow and some fox farm grow big and tiger bloom so we are going to be growing big soon! Here is my room I plan on taking the countertop that I put up out so they can sit on the ground atleast the section that the plants are on now. What do you think.
