Hi you all guys!
I'm kinda new both on this forum and in indoor growing, but i've grown regular, outdoor weed in my last two years in the forms of guerrilla gardening...

Then this year I moved to a home of my own, and decided to set up a simple DIY growroom.

For this first attempt, I decided to grow 5 easyriders, but soon i'm going to add three white weadows so that, when the Autos will be harvested (about 2-3 months), the three white ladies will be ready to switch to 12/12 and start flowering too.

At first glance, i was tempted to reduce energy waste and put CFL's, but i did a little research and found HPS are much more productive in terms of yeld, even with a higher electricity consumption.

So i went to the garage where i work, stole some spare metal and put it toghether in order to invent something to keep the lamp up and adjustable in height.

The reflector has been made by cutting and bending my old metal trash bin! :)

I'm growing on an attic, temperature is about 5° and this allows me to keep the lights closer to the plants; while in the night (4 hours of dark) i keep a heating fan turned on.

Average temperature of the growing space is, this way, always between 19° and 27° Celsius (sorry for all the Farenheit-used readers, but i'm writing from Italy :) ).

I'm going to use normal 6-4-4 nutrients for the Veg and CANNA fertilizer i bought in Amsterdam for the bloom (this gave me thick buds in the last yeld).

We are at day 4.

I think it's all...uh yes...here there are some infos about EasyRider Strain:

Type:Indica - sativa mix
Recommended Climate:Indoor
Yield:450 gr/m2
Height:35 - 60 cm
Flowering Period:8 weeks
Stoned or High:Uplifting Sativa High.
Thc Levels Content:15%

And, sure, the pics:

I would also be pleased if someone explains me how to post thumbnails of the pictures, because my cellphone takes too-high resolution photos and they don't fit in the forum, so i'm forced to post links witch are somehow anti-aesthetic!

Growth seems regular, the second set of leaves appeared yesterday, yet took until this morning to open up.

Having indoor babies is much different from when i used to grow guerrilla, as now it is right in my attic...i go seeing them two or three times a day just to ensure everithing is ok :)
I'm definitely getting in love with this. :blsmoke:

Here's some pics, i sent my smartphone to the repair center so i had to use the webcam, witch is so PIXELLOUS...
anyhow...

Day 13

The plants keep growing...the first internodes are coming out and soon growth will increase exponentially...awwwwwww!!!!!

I also added to the growroom an old experiment i did...
As you can see in the second picture, there is such a strange plant (the one rounded by a yellow circle), it is a moby dick (white weadow x haze) and wanted some questions I have about it to be answered:

I planted this baby about five months ago... grew her and other 4 plants of the same strain in my basement for about 3 weeks, till a terrible mold came and killed all of them...she was the only survivor but i didn't think she would ever keep growing : she stopped growing for a long time and remained that tall (remember that she is 5 months old now and still is about 5-6 inches tall!!) and i left her growing without any light in my bedroom...just to see what would happen...

Incredibily, the plant healed and started growing (really a little) again, shoot out some new leaves and then bloomed with a ridiculous yeld of 2 grams!

Now, just in order to have some fun, i put her back in 20/4 light cycle and want to see what happens...

Do you think it will ever get back in VEG and may start a new cycle?

I first went for a 300w...but went out of the shop with a 400w for few bucks more, witch allows me to cover about 1.2 square metres...
to get an idea i could add one or two more small plants, maybe Autos... (if you look at the first post i put in this thread you'll find the links to the photos showing the whole setup... I just bought the HPS and built all the rest DIY

Day 15

Leaves keep curling even at 73 degrees, But the plants keep growing regularliy.

Today i saw two little spidiers crawling over one of the plants, ran taking my anti-parasite spray and burnt the little bastards to death...cleaned all the setup and that fucking moquette too...

As you can see in the pictures, leaves are slightly curled...what could it be, excluding heat stress?
