2 AUTO AK47's, 1 HAZE AUTO, 1 ROADRUNNER - ALL FEM - CFL - BIOBIZZ

no man, haven't tried it yet. but if it's anything like the regular hazes, mmmm... it's going to be amazing. in the description it says that though there is more CBD content so it might not be such an up high.

Day 45 - November 21
Some picture updates. There is still yellowing going on on the plants, but now it seems more like a N deficiency which I suppose should be normal in this stage of flowering so I'm hoping for the best. Still giving them some Fish-Mix but at the lowest dose. I don't wanna pump the N ferts just because a bunch of fan leaves are turning yellow. Don't wanna have that chlorophyll taste.
Here is the situation at Day 45 from seed:
The taller Auto AK47 #1:
The shorter Auto AK47 #2: (It's much more developed in its flowering, maybe because of its small size)
Roadrunner:

How much does it cost to run CFLs? it must be a lot cheaper in elecricity, which balances out for a few grams less yield, do they run hot at all?
My 250w hps adds an extra £30/month ~ $50ish to my bill

Ya man it's crazy.
Well I'd like to compare electricity costs but as I don't live in the States or the UK, I don't know how much that would mean for us : ) I can say that because I don't have a ballast I probably have less of a cost. I am using 267 watts of CFL however so that would amount to the same wattage as the 250w HPS you got in the end (with the ballast pulling some extra wattage) I'm clueless
Haha... Gotta check the bills, nothing noticable though.For the heat question I can say that they generate some heat but not comparable to any HPS I don't think and that's the main reason for my using CFLs. It's around 88 degrees F within one inch of the bulbs. But if you move just an inch further it drops down to 81. And that's basically the temperature I have on the canopy.

looking real good fedpap! i used biobizz for one of my previous grows, looks like they're working out really well for you, better than mine. I was also growing autos and would definitely suggest (if you want a bigger yield) leaving them for a week or more after the suggested harvest date, i got like 15g's each of dry bud from my two biggest girls using cfl's but i definitely harvested too early!, i hope you have better luck dood!

Wow man that last picture is turning me on! Haha, you should make that one your avatar. Anyways though they look really close, like a week or less? It looks like the stigmas/hairs are ready you just gotta watch the color of the heads on the trichomes. Also man don't forget to keep some fans running at night for airflow and humidity, and watch all the lower buds and bottom bud sections for bud rot. Although depending on where your living it should'nt be an issue in the winter, plus your not using a hot HID light in your setup.
Anyways, I can't wait to see some more bud porn and hear the weight/smoke report. Great job dude, your gonna be sooo blazed soon. I only got 11-18 days left so i'll be there with you soon, i'm gonna post some new pics on my journal later. Peace bro

Thanks man. I think i have more than a week left still though. I have to be patient. Not all the plants are at the same stage but I think if I harvest in 10 days or 2 weeks or so, I would be doing a mixed harvest; some of the plants will be early, some of them will be at their peak, some of them will be late. It will be nice to have varieties to compare just to have some experience in what it means to harvest late or early.

I am gradually reducing the light regime from 20/4 to 18/6 right now by 15 minute increments every night. Would you guys think that's a good idea?

The aromas are getting crazy right now. The AK47's are musky with a bit of pineapple scent in there. The Hazes are incredibly lemony ! I mean ridiculously !!! The Roadrunner doesn't have much of a strong smell and I'm not very happy with its buds either. They're much thinner compared to the other gals. I think the Haze Auto's will surpass the AK47's in terms of yield cause they are fat as fuck! Though maybe AK47 buds are denser. I am just too lazy to take photos of them cause they're at the back of the grow-room. It's easier to pick the AK47 up from the front and play with the camera

Damn man those buds look soo Dannnnk and real close too. I am currently running my plants on 8/16 their last 1-2 weeks and although I am not doing auto's like you I'm pretty sure it would have the same effect and help speed up the maturity process of your pistils/trichomes. I'm on a bit of a schedule with my next grow so all of my plants will be harvested within the next 1-3 weeks. I can't wait man we're all gonna have amazing christmas harvest pics, Sa-Weeeeet.

OK Then !
I have taken down the short AK47 (#2) 7 days ago and it's been drying in the attic until today. It was 60 grams wet weight and now it's down to 17 grams dry weight (which is I think 0.6 oz. )
So this was from the smaller AK I had. The other plants are still going. I think they have about a week left in them. The dwarf Haze looks like it could be done earlier. I don't actually think that I took down this small AK47 with its full potential though. It could have gone until today probably but I was greedy But it's rewarding too. It hasn't been cured yet but I sense nothing harsh about the intake (maybe the organics)
Its smell is gone of course now I will cure it to bring it back. It just has a nice skunk smell to it now. That pineappley+musky smell is gone. I hope the cure will bring all of that back. All in all, you feel the strength of it right away but it accelerates with time giving you a head high for about an hour and a body high afterwards for 2 hours.
I am extremely happy with the AK47 since they were always the healthiest of my Autos. Here are some pics while they go in the curing jar
I will post photos of the other plants after New Years' when I take 'em down
