So Much Sweeter the Second Time Round (I Hope)

this is my second ever grow and my first proper grow journal.

first time round i had a 1.2x1.2m tent, 1x 600w hps and a 6" fan with stubby carbon filter.

this time round i have a 1.2x2.4m tent, 2x600w hps and a 6" fan with a long carbon filter on it.

i currently have in veg:
1x greenhouse seeds cheese (8-9weeks)
1x greenhouse seeds super lemon haze (10-12 weeks)
1x barneys farm blue cheese (8-9 weeks)
1x lemon skunk (same as last grow) (9-10 weeks)

i have taken some cuttings of the above plants but wont include them in the above list until they have rooted, i am also waiting on some u.k cheese (same as last grow) (8-9 weeks) cuttings from a friend to fill my tent. all things being well i will have 16-20 plants in the tent in one go.

i am trying to sort a perpetual grow set up out so i don't have to buy over priced street shit any more. i will post more details and pictures in the coming days.

looks like i fucked that one up lol. i thought i could go back and edit the first posts so that i could explain everything and put in some pics before anyone posted in here, now i cant edit them so i'm stuck with the second, third, fourth and fifth posts.

i'm still waiting on the cuttings from my friend, i currently have four plants under two 600w lights, what a waste.

anybody reading this i promise it will get interesting soon, i have tonnes of bud porn from my last crop and i love to share.

messed up the start of this journal but let's see if we can make sense of it all now.

in my tent i now have:


1x barneys farm blue cheese

these were all grown from seed, i topped them above the 2nd true node and lst'd them.


here is a lemon skunk, a cutting from the same mother as my last grow(have lst'd this also):

my mate finally came through with the cheese cuttings. i potted them straight away and put them under a 600w hps with cling film over the pot, just taken it off after 2 days and they are a bit stressed but will make it through. im gonna veg these for about a week then change the lights to 12/12. one will be kept as a mother to take cuttings from in the future so i dont have to keep popping seeds, cuttings is easier for me.

i made some bubble hash from the trimmings of my last grow.

i just roll it in to sausages and put it in with a joint of the lemon skunk, NO TOBBACCO!

Nice dude, not to knowledgable about hash making but i really want to make some with my trimmings on my harvest!!

What method did you use!

i used bubblebags, 72mu and 25mu bags. I got 3g of the 72mu grade and 1g 25mu grade from about 3 oz of dried trim.


just finished a joint of this stuff and it's like somebody is doing a laser show in my front room!:bigjoint:
 
i would recommend them, i payed around 90$ for the 3 bag set. they do a 7 bag set but i think it would be overkill, you would need a shit load of trim to get any decent amounts of any of the grades of hash.
 
Ya i was looking at the 3 bag set. I have never even had hash before, lol.

I guess never wanted to spend money on it, but if i could make it for free.

id have to try it out.
 
i heard of another alternative to bubblebags that are cheaper and seem decent quality. they are called sprung bags, and the 5 bag set is the same price as the 3 bag set from bubblebags. just a thought, if you aint making hash with your trim you are missing out!

hows the hernia healing?
 
im going to switch the lights down to 12/12 next week as the 4 big plants are getting out of control. you can see how much they have come on in the four days since the last post

the cheese clones are starting to bounce back after all the stress they went through, they have a bit more to go through yet. i didn't have enough coco to fill up all of the pots when i got them so i used what i had and now will have to repot the ones in the pots which are only half filled.
