Nirvana " Ice " 400 Watt Hps Grow!!

So o'k im finally back with my newest grow and i hope this all goes well, got my Ice beans from Nirvana on the 5th and germed them all did'nt have a great germ rate only 5 out of ten and from those i got three sprouts. They are now at the 2 1/2 week mark from germ and sprout and looking pretty healthy so far,just started them on grow nutes and super thrive today and put them under the MH 400 and replanted into 3 gallon bags..

I'll be using cutting edge solutions all the way through for nutes and some mollasses as well beginning the last week of veg..
Im going to veg for another three weeks at least..
So, come one come all with any feed back you wish to share if you've grown this strain before..

I wanna see the outcome of that 400 watt light. I plan on a 400 for myself here soon. Was wondering if its enough.

Thanks for stopping by husle and yeah i just upgraded from my 250 to this 400 this grow i hope i can keep the heat in check during the summer here..

Yeah Hlife you are welcome to hollah at any time my man and yes the 400 is cooltube, ive got one fan cooling the light and the box is being cooled seperately by 320 cfms with a passive exaust set up for now..and hey dont put that chair to far in the back or you may miss something good! lol or bad..Peace

what's up stinkk .. haven't seen ya around in a while! i'm subscribing ....Ice sounds nice! How did your BLZ go??? were there alot of beans, if any?? i saw you gave the smoke report. Think it's worth trying??

What is up Ataxia? been awhile my friend hows life treating you? hey glad to have you back as well and be sure to let me know when you drop those beans so i can check you out,,I like the choises you have..As for the BLZ it was off the hook everyone that i allowed to come in contact with my stash was blown away and yes i'll be doing another larger grow with BLZ real soon..I've always wanted to try the strawberryblue jsut havent because of the sativa side to it they say it gets pretty tall..The Ice is supposed to be very good all around smoke powerful and a fast finisher flowering around 43-51 days as most other growing can atest to..

O'k all, i set up my DIY co2 today and ill be putting it to work soon, but i have one question if anyone can answer it! Do i turn my exaust fans off when im using the co2 during lights on? and if so how do i control the heat?
The girls are looking very good, vibrant and green so all is well i'll get some photos up once i get the co2 in the box..peace

Hey thanks man. Ya I'm glad to be home. Bean Town shit...more like beaner town. My son let rip 7 more songs to finish his album. Going to dist it to about a dozen labels and see if any of them are interested.

I'm pretty familiar with the strain, Ill post a link to my grow and smoke report. Its def one of the favorites around here. From a growers perspective it great because it finishes so fast too. You can get most of the info from the report, but I'll be glad to answer any questions if I can. Placed an order a couple of weeks ago with Seed Boutique for a couple of packs of Mental Floss and checked my cc statement tonight and no charges yet...wtf

The girls are looking good so far,i did go ahead and introduce some DIY co2 into the growing room about 4 days ago and the shit really seems to be having an effect..here are some pic's from a few days agop and some since the co2 was put in.. :shock:

so ok here is my weekly update and there has been a lot of growth as well as getting taller im not sure what it could be the nutes or the co2 but i like the results so far :hump:

By the way, i forgot to mention that im getting very ancious to top these babies but with the growth as it is im not sure if i want to do it or what would it benifit me to do so can someone give me a lil help with this delima? all help welcome..Peace

Hey bro hows it going. Your getting really good growth, especially for the length of time that they have been in there....that's awesome.

Ice has an interesting lineage, my cut is sativa dom and I try and get as many bud sites on the upper half of the plant as I can. What are you seeing for phenos? The front one has pretty broad leaves, but are the leaves a little thinner on the plant in the back? If indica I would top and turn it into two three or four main colas and make sure you strip the bottom third after the 1st and 3rd week of flowering. If sativa def top and train and in both cases what I do is use string and good tape. Once your new growth is long enough use the string to spread the colas apart a bit and if sativa, tie those bitches down and promote as many upper bud sites as you can

so yes I would top them now fer sure!!

Say highlander thanks once again i was at a cross road here and that helps a lot as for the pheno's two of them are really fat leaf only one is a runt the other is bushy as hell and about 8" so far the last plant is very tall about 12" so far and much more space between nodes yet the leaves are still very indica like that one i think stretched a bit under the cfl's early i think ill fem that one for now and top the others maybe twice before flipping the 12/12 switch what do yo think? I just found me a beautiful amoire at the thrift shop dude for f*****g 26 bucks outstanding shit it is larger then the box i have now and im going to use it on my next grow and do maybe a 10 to 12 plant scrogg set up..It's 6' ht x 2'w x 3'L and she is nice ill post pic's of here soon..peace
