Hi everyone,

so here is my Journal, I started with 10 seeds, 5 El Nino Feminized the 10th of April and 5 White Widow the 18th of April. I didn't do any germination in wet paper but instead placed the seeds direly in these small cylinder of earth and lost 3 White Widow seeds :( but it worked for all the El Nino :D
My growing room as been build little by little since I was learning while growing :P
and for the "exhaust" I use a normal ventilator at 15€ :)
So here are my picts, tell me what you think, I'll try to update regularly :

And here are some news :)
I bought new fertilizer and moved them a bit, the small white widow finally stated to grow :D but some of them are burned, I don't know if it comes from too much fertilizer or a deprivation in an element :\
If someone has an idea I'll take it :)

Hey looks good so far im here till the end im very interested to see how many ladies you can get under that 250 and the yeild it gives..What is the area of your grow room?

the area under the light is 2 feet x 4 feet

Since it's planned that I leave for my holidays when I was supposed to be harvesting :\, I will have to let them in the vegetative stat until mid June, which means that my plants will be more than 2 months old then :S. I know that for my 250 W it will be too much but I'll live with it.

Because of a power shot down of a few seconds my MH turned off and didn't start again and my plants got a bit more than 24h of dark, now each of them have started to show their sex. And I might be wrong but I think that one of my White widow is a male and the other a female. Anyway I changed my cycle to 19/5 and feed them with N to be sure that they go back to the vegetative stat!

By the way I found out after a few tests that if I turn off my MH a few seconds I need to wait roughly 1min to start it again, otherwise it will be trying but never the light will turn on; did someone get such a problem? (My ballast is a 250W MH/HPS)

here is the picture of the plant I suspect to be a male... what do you think?

Oh and what the you think is the risk that they refuse to go back into vegetative? should I give them even more light?

And be sure I'll give my yield at the end :D

here are more picts

Nice looking grow, looks similar to my first grow..

Im doing something similar to you at the moment with the MH / HPS..

I think that you ballast has a safety thing on it, so as it doesn't damage you bulb be re-ingniting it straight away..

Is that cooking foil you are using..?

First I was using cooking aluminum foil but I change it for some of that military foil for the camouflage. It reflects nearly 100% of the light, but what is on the light is aluminum cooking foil, in fact the military foil is a kind of plastic, so I guessed it can burn and I didn't want to have such a thing that close from my light.

Euh can someone help me, is this plant a male? I don't have experience but when I compare it to some other people pictures it looks like it....

ok thanks, now I'm not gonna feel bad to take it out of the growing room (I don't want to kill it since I'll like to get a few seeds, he is so vigorous and smell so niiiiice :) )

I left it outside from now on, the risk is then at the lowest possible. I just game my plants new pots but he's not gonna get one, he'll stay there and so long he wants to leave I'll give him food and water, and I hope I get some pollen at the end :D

Greenhouse seeds are, as far as I can tell, really good. these El Nino grow really compact compare to my White Widow and because/thanks to my light accident I now can tell the sex of my plants and I got 5 women out of 5 seeds (feminized). I would recommend them, specially for people without too much place or with low Watt.

Try not to mist your plants while the lights are on Or water, it causes them to turn yellow. I Personally water during the dark period. And notice my yellowing of the leafs going away...just some two cents. idk it may be different and i may be wrong but thats what Ive noticed in my experience so far.

One Love, and keep growing!

Thanks for the typ MuppetMan, I'll try to do it when I come back from my holidays, (the next 5 days my GF will take care of them and it would be complicated for her to do it just during the "night" hours)

Hello,

back from my holidays and my GF worked perfectly, nothing died :D and they've grown sooo much!!! I switch to flowering cycle yesterday and installed my 250W HPS and 25W CFL to bring some light for the lowest leaves, I know it will not make a big difference but I had it and wasn't using it so, why not?
