From nothin to lots of somethin...is the plan

Alright so i started a thread about building a grow room in my new house and due to the advice of some other members im starting a grow journal from the beginning. we just moved into our first house i had been growin in our rental but it was sketch so now that i have my own house the plan is to make a legit stealth grow room. Me and my amigo built the wall already and now we are workin on the shelving design soon if this god damn snow would go away so i can get to home depot

But the basic design of the room is pretty tight it is an 8x4x8 ft room and i plan to capatilize on as much height as possible so i want to seperate the wall into three sections each measuring just over 2 1/2 ft. to do this i want to take 2x4 and mount them 4in. side flat against the wall to use as the rear support. than for the front use 1/2 pvc pipe as columns. ill glue them to 1/4 square pieces of wood than screw them into place. i than want to wrap the entire room in reflective mylar ceiling, walls, shelves, columns everything. than the floor i will use white mat to reflect up.

Secret entrance: so im thinkin i wanna do the classic bookcase door but not to sure im open to ideas if anyone has got em as you can see the door in is in plain sight so it have to be hiding in plain sight lol

Lighting: for the lighting we want to use tube flouresent mounted to the bottom of all the shelves i would need 15 lights in total 30 tubes.

Ventilation: the ventilation will be run out the exhaust of my house (i built the room around it so it would be inside the room) the exhaust of the house is where your furnace and water heater release hot air and un-used gas, to ensure i dont have a gas leak in my house and kill myself and others i will use a y and seal it completely. i have a 6 in. axial fan that will be attatched to 6 in flex and fun through the hood than up the house exhaust with all that hot air n up up n out the roof! thatll take care of any smells as well as make the room quite stealthy since i dont have an extra vent out the side of my house!!

Growing: now the plan me and my amigo came up with is that we want to have a steady supply of dank weed to smoke... so we decided to go with auto-flowering strains to get the maximum yield in the shortest time for our space.( not to mention some of the new crosses coming out are claiming thc content upwards of 20%) now we have four auto strains right now

we plan on doing one massive seed harvest utilizing the rest of the house for males and keeping the females in that room. after this we figure with the small amount of soil and space we need for each plant we can put at least 60 plants on the shelving system we build. now we will harvest half the room once a month so thirty plants once a month that hopefully will yield roughly 20-30 grams each ( they report up to 50 g can be harvested but idk) so hopefully atleast a pound a month for ever!!!!!!!!

thanks ya im pretty excited to see how it goes too! im doing the last of the 2x4s tomorrow cuz i cant drill through the upper wall of concrete with my cordless but ill put up some more pics tomorrow of the first part of the shelving.

still waiting on my seeds too this blows i hate waiting

ok so today finished mounting the 2x4s, hung my 1000 wat hood and put my T on the exhaust going out the roof.

here are some pics of the first two shelves i put up the rest will come in a while gotta get all my outdoor plants grown cloned and then planted should have like 100 plants composed of some purple power, ice, northern lights(those belong to my partner in this project) and blue mystic.

but anyway once those are out of the way ill finish the room totally but for now we r just going to worry about this wall. i think wednesday ill swing by home depot to get the columns for the front than mylar that wall and the ceiling. as soon as my seeds get here ill get them up and goin and use that wall for my females i plan to use for a seed harvest.

ok so i got my seeds in finally and guess what! 100% germination whoa ya ya they are now getting ready to sprout and ill be posting some pics as i start to hang the lights and put up mylar on the room!!

ok so this weekend i am going to transplant all my seedlings into their one gallon pots with ffof and i am going to finish one wall of the room with mylar n shit just an update if anyone is interested in this
