Why hello there and welcome to the PBF factory! Ive been growing for about a decade now and decided to get some what serious about this. I'd like to harvest a different strain every three weeks. Right now I have three mothers. One Northern lights (NL) one Hollands Hope (HH) and one Strawberry Cough Hybrid (SC). I have pics here of the NL mother after over 30 clones were taken off her.... also i LST'd the shit out of her cause she was getting to tall for the area she was in. Soon i will have more pics of the other two mothers. There are also pics of my bubble cloner and some of the NL clones in that. Also a NL at about 25 days of flower with no nutes. ( I wanted to see how the taste and high was without nutes, heard there's not much of a difference.) Updates frequently! Comments are welcome!:leaf:

I'm subscribed here PBF, thanks for the invite my friend :-) I know we share a love of the NL. That NL mother is beautiful!... rampant :-)

Interested to see how it goes reducing nutes because its something I'm doing myself. We see far too many overfed plant on these forums, everyones pushing those nutes to the max. Some of the best and healthiest specimens I have grown over the last 12 years or so have been fed lightly (in soil). I think growers routinely overload on the nutes causing build up in the soil that the plants neither need or can handle. How does she look for 25 in flower without nutes? I'll bet shes looking fine and healthy? I grow lots of other plants including fruit and veg and I can't think of anything else that I would feed more often than once per month or so. I defo overfed my last NL but she turned out OK as they do but she lacked that nice specimen condition that I like to see.

Looking forward to the new p;ics.

Hey Maturesmoker! Ya, your right about alot of people on here and every where trying to get there plants to grow faster and bigger by over fertilizing. Of cousre i have also done this my self in the past but ive learned my lesson. Here is a pic of the un fertilized NL at 25 days give or take a couple of days. >>>This pic was taken while i was moving alot of things so thats why you see wires on floor, wire's have since been hung up.

PBF, Wow, I envy you those beautiful mothers, thats how cannabis plants should look, :-) I dislike having to keep my plants so short and confined. The NL looks great to me, certainly not at all hungry looking, just healthy.

I know the NL well :-) infact I'm struggling to type right now! But whats the qualities of the other 2 strains? both sounds nice but what do you look for in them PBF?

Great pics.

Lol, I understand about the not being able to type:lol:! I keep these other strains to pretty much have something different and also there alot more denser than the NL. The Hollands Hope is a outdoor plant and finishes late sept. So another reason i keep these other strains is to grow outside next summer. The strawberry cough hybrid is actually a friends mistake. A SC hermy was put in with a few other females on accident and the females were pollinated. the seeds from this were alllllllll feminized! The strains that the SC hermy pollinated were all different but i know one was the NL lol. :leaf:

I cant say its no nutes at all... i did add a lil root stimulant once in week one but that's it other than the happy frog soil itself. Had to take a trip out of town and came back and my roots were going crazy! Here's a pic of the NL pretty much no nutes and those roots.....:leaf:

Well thank you maturesmoker! More pics coming soon. I am open minded so if any one see's something that could be done better tell me so i can get the best out of what i am working with!:leaf:

I'm liking it, your mothers look very nice. Sucks that your friend let your nl mother stretch out..... I hear ya on the overnuting thing around here I learned my lesson a while back as well.. The current strain I'm running is a freaking nutrient hog though. She can handle the nutrients and eats up bat guano in half the time that it says on the back of the package and wanting more. I've deffinately found the saying less is more to be true.
