Super Skunk, UK Cheese, THC Bomb, Super Silver Haze Soil Grow! 3 600w HPS

This will be my 3rd grow, first time with soil. I plan on having 6-12 plants harvesting every 2 weeks, under 2-3 600 watt HPS. 1 Veg room under a 400 watter. These ones are about 16 days old from when I planted them... Im putting them in soil this weekend and under the HPS. I am wondering if anyone has any good tips on what kind of nutrients to use during a soil run. I plan on using a drain to waste drip system. The last grow turned out good, but im looking for better and I used a 3 part base nutrient from Cutting Edge with their recommended additives, but like I said I'm looking for more. I was thinking of going half strength on the base and getting more additives like Sugar Daddy and Bat Guano and maybe some other stuff So my ppm's wont be so high. Will that work with the nutrients I have now or do I gotta get a whole new brand. Any input is appreciated and I will be back on here with more pics of the construction of the rooms and how the plants are doing. Thanks!

i guess i should clarify my statement a little bit. I mean if I wanted to know a list of all the brands I would have gone on google... which I already did. Thanks man I am aware of all the carriers of nutrients. I want to know(from experience) which nutrients are the best. Maybe someone who have used all this shit and have been succesfull using a certain product.

naw man using soil this time. changed my mind at the last min, but this way im going to water them individually so they all get the full amount of nutrients. last time the first few in the table ate most of the good stuff so the ones on the oppositte ends didnt do as well. So do you know how to maintain watering for soil? Cuz this is the first time Ive done soil and im not really sure how many times i should water them each day or each week. so iif anyone has some experience any info would really be appreciated. Thanks!

here are some pics of our 23 day old lady hopefulls

So I kind of been slacking on updating these plants, but its been hectic trying to get supplies and building the room. I am pretty much finished though. Now the 8 plants from b4 are doing very well, the 2 huge ones are the Super Silver Haze which are like a foot taller than any other plants. I am about 1 week into flowering but they still have yet to show signs of their gender. Maaaaan I hope they are all females haha. I also went and bought a few other strains just incase I get very unlucky and I don't get alot of girls. I am sosoooooo excited about what I have now. G-13,Grape Ape, Blue Dream Haze, Green Crack, L.A. Confidential, Jack Herrer, and GDP. Wow right? hahaha So these are a few pics of the room and the plants. I don't have all the lights yet but hopefully soon. The room oin the left has a few t5's now but ima put the 400w I have in the flower into that room and put a few 600's in the room on the right. Hope ya'll like and enjoy and if you have any suggestions or input if you have grown these strains before in soil I would appreciate it greatly. Good smokes!

for me since i heaviy feed my plants advanced nutrients using soil i water everyday 300ml and doing this beware of letting your soil completly drying s your nutrients will lock up so just water when they feel/look light and be sure to water the whole surface as spot watering will only give spots of the roots water good luck hope they boom

Alright well I have 6 females out of the 8 which is pretty much what I was hoping for. Even though I lost a Super Skunk and one of the Super Silver Hazes which was about 5 ft tall. They are looking really good right now and I can't wait till they start to show some buds haha Some of the fan leaves turn sideways its really crazy, does any one know why they do that? Is it bad? The clones are starting to look pretty good as well, the three in the middle still look the same as the day I bought them and Im about to have to talk to the guy I bought them from cuz the others look good. Well the room is pretty much finished jus gotta assist them in their growth from here on out!

alright so Im like two weeks in and theyre jus starting to show some bud growth, This pic im trying to show how tall it is. I mean its taller than me now so its gotta be close to 6 n a half feet. There are only 6 plants this go around and i have them under a 600w hps in a mondo hood which is huge, 31x28 i believe. and that is on a 4 ft rail so the entire plants should be getting good light. Anyone know how to control how tall they get cuz my light dont go up much further and its almost touching the light.

I am concerned I may not be watering right. I am chosing to hand water these planst in hopes to find out which strains I like and ultimately perfect them over time. I water once a day now and most of the time the soil on top stays moist. should i water twice a day to make sure it never drys up or am i doin ok? I do pour the water over the entire pot, but i dont get too much run off. Thanks for any solid input ahead of time : )

most of what i've read says to let the top couple of inches dry before watering. Jorge Cervantes book says daily watering is a no no. soak well then let it be for a while. ssh gets huge, i've seen plants 7 feet. keeps stretching most of the time. but most of it is probably in the first few weeks. the ssh i know of got too tall for the room and bending was used, seemed to work well. easy, too.

Water then wait till the top looks dry. Stick your finger in down to the first big knuckle - if it's dry then water. If it's moist, you can wait a day or 12 hours. Also, water one plant and put it next to a dry one. Compare the weights by lifting them and just become familiar with what the dry pot weight feels like so you'll know they are ready for a watering.

After doing that for awhile, you'll figure out how many days between etc... But do it all by feel when it comes to hand watering.
