My story of growing Ata Tundra plant :)

Unfortunately my nutes problem slowed vegetative grow buy 1-2 weeks in progress. :-?
So there they are, four of my girls after one month of grow.:neutral:

Whats the temp in your grow room? im having a nightmare of a time controlling my temps! they are ranging from 20c to 28c, one of my babies has minor heat stress. metal halide lamps dont half burn hot. we are all learning! keep it up, PEACE

As you know I have very small closet and I have constant temperature of 25c. I don't close door completely and leave small gap for hot air to come out. :roll:
Still trying to sort out my fan but should have it by the end of this week :neutral:. It should help to circulate air and temperature, also my co2 from yeast.
As far as I'm aware temperature between 21-28 is normal for marijuana but ideally you should keep it around 25c. :!:
I have CFL lamps and heat is not one of my problems, as I can and should kep them at one inch from light source. :eyesmoke:

Well I think they are a bit small yet, correct me if I'm wrong. Considering their rate of grow at the moment I would leave them for another 2-3 weeks. :roll:
Bigger they are, bigger the buds isn't ? bongsmilie

Also would like to mention that if your CFL lamps are further than one inch their grow is significantly slowed. I mean they are still growing pretty nicely but if you leave your lamp very close you will be amazed how quick they grow. :bigjoint:
But be careful to check regularly as they might grow into lamps and burn themselves. Mine grew three inches within one day and burned one leaf. :fire:

since that post iv kept the temp around 24c 26c because of the fact i now have the 2 fans on timers turning on and off when needed, 1 fan at night when its cooler 2 fans day when its warmer the plants are better for it!(sensitive little things)sounds like your temp is spot on;-) that 6' fan is taking way to long! ill give you a link to a good indoor growroon specilist! takes 2 days from order to arrive! highly recommended:bigjoint:

I believe that it is time to enter flowering stage now. My plants are into 6 week of vegetative grow and considering fact that after plants are in flowering stage they will grow very very quickly and more than double in size. :roll:
For my first 1.5 week I'll use one cool and one warm light bulb and after two warm light bulbs to help with flowering. :idea:
Wish me best of luck my dear friends, so none of my plants will turn into male. :hug:
One important thing I found out that when you are in 12\12 mode you must be absolutely sure there will be no light falling on them during dark period otherwise they might turn male. :wall:

As I said wish me luck and I'll update on all bud formation and sex signs.

They do stretch a bit so what out for that but good news is....sex will show right away and you should have all of the pistils popping out somewhere around 2 -3 week.

Hello again fellow growers,

10 days passed since I entered 12/12 stage but still no sign of sex. I have changed one lamp from blue to red spectrum in order to help plants to realize that it is time to flower.
But people say that it might take up to two week to show any sign of sex. :neutral:
Plants are around 11 inches now, upward growing process slowed instead I can see more leaves coming from sides, not too fast but steady. :-?

be patient my friend, it should show sex within another 4 days and than the plant will explode with pistils.
 
Hello guys,

There are some new pics of my girls. But unfortunately still no flowers. :-?
On one of my flowers I can see a begging of a small pistil.
Changed one flower lamp back to vegetative lamp.

i have 5 plants. 2 ata tundra and 3 hash passion seed that i got from seedsman. lol i have 12 26w (100w) and 2 40w (150w) cfls and four floro tubes 40w (150w) in the picture they are just under 30 days into veg. the ata tundra is a slow grower compaired to my hash passion seeds. my area im in is 4 by 4 by 4 and a half feet tall
