Lets get started... This is pretty much my first grow, meaning I've tried growing before but have not been able to finish due to other reasons. I got my seeds from a sack of some pretty dank chronic, however, I don't know what strain they are.
There are 4 plants individually planted in 8" pots. The soil I am using is 80% MG African Violet Potting Mix and 20% MG Perlite. The African Violet Mix says the N-P-K ratio is 0.18-0.06-0.12 and the Perlite is 0.04-0.01-0.06. I don't know what the deal is with that.. I imagine I will need more nutes with time. I chose the African Violet soil because that was all I could find and it says the PH is from 6.0-6.8.
The plants are under 4 daylight 26-watt CFLs (6500k), 2 48" 40-watt cool floros, and 2 24" floros (4200k). For the first 2 weeks, I had them under 24/0 light then switched to 18/6.
I have an oscillating fan running 24/7 to help make the stems strong and I water them about every 2-3 days with distilled water.
The seeds sprouted June 28 and are now 3 weeks old. I think they are looking pretty good but I don't know what steps to take next to make sure I am doing everything correctly. Plants 3 and 4 seems to be growing much slower than Plants 1 and 2. Plants 2, 3, and 4 all look to be the same but Plant 1 looks different than the rest. I like plant 2 the best...
Feel free to give me some pointers.. I NEED THEM!
