This will be my first grow under 400W HPS(HTG Supply) and off brand bulb. Ebb & Flow, rockwool, hydroton and "Ionic Nutes"(GROW), for vegetative and 18/6 lighting. I hope to change over to 16/8 in acouple months for cost and hopefully no damage to yeild.

I'm Useing Easy Special and White Dwarf. Got 4 healthy Easy Special's and 5 White Dwarf are germinating. I've just givin them their first shot of nutes at about 20 days in because their roots wre strong and they started turning yellow(tell tale sign i guess.) Most of em look like not enough water also. I'm flooding twice a day for 1 minute intervals. Think i should boost that?

Light is about 3 feet away, again any adjustments?

Not to concerned about yellowing i know i will get em tip top but any suggestions are welcomed.

Pics below are from today not sure exactly what day on the log, but its about 20 days. SOme leafs beginning to curl. Feel free to post in this log.

Don't know to much about Ebb & Flow but looks like your plants will be short and bushy :p , I wish mine would do that, Great setup

I think they look too wet. Rockwool will suck-up and hold a lot of water.

I use rockwool cubes in pots of hydroton in my flood tray. which is also filled with hydroten.

I hand water seedlings and clones in rockwool until the roots come out, and then put them high enough in the pot that the cube is above the water level.

The roots will grow down into the flood area in just a couple of days..

Thanks for the comments, for the3rd day of nutes i'm impressed with the nutes, 1 plant has nute burn but thats from before. But the other 3 have opened begun getting thicker stocks and growth between intersects alot quicker....

Wish i had better camera

Satisified with nutes and am fllushing today.

Edit to add that i added more rockwool, hopefully if their over watered that'll help.

Good news, all 5 out of 5 of my fem white dwarfs germinated and are in the dark getting started. Weird seeds because i germinated over night and well expected to see cracks the next morning but natha'. I was so disappointed, but sure enough the next morning there they were, 4 of em cracked and stretching. I was hopeing i got em in time cause the papertowel was getting dried they were drinkin so much. Was disappointed about my fifth 1 until the very next day yes so did she.

Hopefully 5 beautiful female's 2 months down the road.

Pic's from yesterday, wil update either tomorrow or when Fem's sprout.

I spray with spray bottle too, acouple times a day just regular tap water. Anybody know if thats useless or keep doing it?

Some new pics, my front 2 might be males i'm not sure cause the nodes and intersects growths dont look to be developing seed formations but they're also not showing the definit signs of being femalle as their counter part in the back(2nd pic).

Not that good ah pic sorry but my grow space is small.

The confirmed female is a beauty, she's dark green, with all her stems light green and no signs of any problems, her psitils have begun to come in so i think she'll be ready for flowering soon. I'm giving these other 2 a chance to show definit sign of sex before i switch light cycle to 16/8

In the first pic the white dwarfs are next to the plants their doing good. eating profusely and have rooted healthy.

Ok some news.

I ripped out the males, i have 2 confirmed females. Gonna start the cloneing process soon, and hoepfully have 8 plants flowering within 2 to 3 months.

The "White Dwarfs" i did some experimenting and just went ahead and added half of em to the main planter with 1/2 nutrient and they've been fine, there was some signs of shock but they've responded well this 2nd day so i'm pondering puttin the rest in but i'ma sit on it another day or so.

Wish i had good camera i'd post pic's but i'ma wait til the grow room is filled with clones and veggy plants and start posting pics.

Alright guys Week 7 and i've turned on the flowering regiment. 1/2 Strength total/50% Veg Nutes & 50% Flower Nutes 4 days ago without changeing lighting. Third day I add some CFL's to edge of planter to promote White dwarf and under foliage of the 2 big ass Easy Specials(boath female). Then on the third night enforced a 16 on 8 off light regiment

In 6 or 7 more days i will flush plants and reservoir and add full 3/4 strength 100% flowering nutes.

No PPM meter, just liquid PH test kit and careful eye on condition of plants.

Dont have a good camera but i got some alright shots of acouple of the White Dwarfs hairs and the last pic is 1 of the Easy Special's bud sites.

Open to comments and suggestions, probably gonna throw the active yeast/CO2 rig up soon also.

Alright guys, more pics.

As you can see the White Dwarfs are doin very well, some yellowing and red vaines from burn or light starveing.

But my last 1 has confirmed female and they've all got the beautiful pistils at almost every intersect.

The big bitchs i've takein notice in the stem creating knew growth and she's bushing out, hopefuly this light regiment worked for flowering my bush's but it's only been acouple days so i'll know for sure in acouple more weeks.
