my setup is as follows:

9ft wardrobe... 6ft of growing room inside... 2 drawers underneath. Possibly eliminating space between the top drawer and the 5 ft space beween. That will give me an extra ft. Cutting the hole so the flowering pot didnt sit directly on the bottom of the top drawer allowing the drain tray to be pulled in and out while the flowing pot in suspended and inch above.

soil - miracle grow with a mixture of some of my own compost and added a good bit of "river rocks" for drainage

fertalizer used so far -colorburst 15-30-15

20 inch pot

Germanated seeds August 20th

lighting used so far - 4 daylight (blue spectrum) 100w cfl's, total of 5,200 lumens

2 10inch fans... 1 on the inside of the door and the other on the back wall of the wardrobe

timer & thermometer

now to catch you up these pics were taken 3 days ago... things seem to be going smooth still not clear on when to switch the lights over. ive had them on about 18 hours of light and 6 hours off now for about 4 1/2 weeks. On one of the plants im starting to notice a collection of some small little yellow circles if anyone has ideas what this may be from please feel free to inform.

i had to add some metal rods, 1 for each plant to kinda help seperate them a little bit. Just how important is it to keep most of the fan leaves? Im also in my 2 day of 12/12 along with also changing my lighting. I took out all but 1 of the 100w blue spectrums and added 4 100w (1600 lumens) red spectrum cfls ...so now theres 5 lights total and about (7,700 Lumens). Also went to a new fertalizer thats 10-15-10.. the other stuff wasnt in liquid or power form so i just didnt think in the long run would continue to do me much good. Last but not least added a air purifier to the closet the wardrobes in to help with the smell. Hopefully ill have some new pics up in the next day or so

Forgot to charge camera batteries so new pics tomorrow. Now im also seeing some leaves with smaller little yellow specs all over some of the leaves... ive been clipping off any of the fan leaves that look bad. For some reason the sugar leaves have nothing on them at all as far as disease goes. All 3 of the plants look like they may have some little white pistols sprouting but not really sure yet...

they loook great.. a bit stretched.... you should definitley be flowering!!

I would clone them.. and make them 8-12 inches tall in the cloning process.. then wait 4-7 days and flower them

cheers

congrats

yes... you need to learnhow to clone.. it is actually very easy.. and you can find tutorials on the web... you must snip it in specific locations..

"how much room" for what?

cheers

CLONING is one of the corner stones of GREAT indoor farming!!

i may or may not clone this time. I would like to change my set up around a little bit simply bc im working to having everything right and not so much what my budget can afford like im having to do right now. I was asking how much room in an area i would need for clones. I live in an apartment and space is limited. Im still un sure about how often to feed the plants with fertalizer and if i should just snip anything with any sign of browing/ disease.

thanks again garden for all of your help

so i think 2 might be female and 1 male... i think its still going to be a few more days just to be sure but 1 of the 3 plants seems to have what looks to be tiny clusters or something. im going to have to do some more research and try to find some pics of some plants that just got sexed so i can see what a male looks like in the very begining. with that being said i just trimmed up all the plants and they have some more room now and looks like like light is getting to the plants better now.

ive added pics of my air purifier to my gallery as well as a picture of the box that my fertalizer came in. Also some pics of what i think might be a male. I hope to determine that tomorrow and then post new pics here then.

hi Gravy : )

You can keep to 10 clones in a space the size of 3 shoe boxes stacked on top of each other. I recently saw a guy that had 20 clones in a small trash can...

It requires very little light to maintain clones. A 42watt CFL is enough light for 20 clones.

cheers.
