Our plants are currently recovering from overwatering and overfertilizing. The top leaves developed a claw at the tips of the leaves from the fertilizer. Hopefully they are on their way to a full recovery. I think they are about 3 to 4 weeks into growing from bag seed.(we stunted their growth a lot).

Here is the setup we are using
  • Hyponex potting soil
  • MG all-purpose fertilizer 24/8/16
  • 6 42watt soft white CFLs + 4 26watt daylight CFLs + 1 23watt soft white CFL = 379 total watts
  • Lights are kept within 3" of plants and are on 18/6
  • Tap water reads ~ 7.0ph
  • Temperature ~ 75 degrees
  • Humidity ~ 35%
The 1st picture was last week before our new setup. This was before we overfertilized and overwatered and they were looking a little healthy.

The 2nd picture is today with our current setup. They are looking a lot better than they were this past week.

Here are closeup pictures of what they looked like this morning. The tips of the new top leaves look bad because of the nitrogen.

The leaves on the plants are starting to look a lot better today. A lot of them are in the process of standing up and we can actually see all the undergrowth that was previously hidden by the drooping leaves.
