hey guys first time.
4 plants raised from seed in my ceiling space.
5 foot fluro with 58w cool whites.
(changed to 58w growlux at about day 15).
HPS 600w (changed to at day 41).
Ducted air in with extacting fan from out side plus table fan for strengthing the stems.
nutes - lush from yates 10.3.6.

light period was always 18/6

Currently at day 51 still in veg.

Crop showed signs of preflowing about day 49, had to pull out one naughty boy!! was ok though got to find out how big the roots were ... then proceeded to repot 2 of the 3 the next day.

Question for any one-
They are currently at about 12" - 16" how much bigger do they grow once put to flower?

Also gotta say this site rocks so much info.

they look light limited... bigger pots will help
Yer that was because of the fluro, they love the hps just gota watch for burning. lights about 1 1/2 to 2 feet away at the moment.

Temp ranges between 25-29C.

And yer those 12litre or 3 gallon buckets filled up pretty fast.
Im gona veg for a couple more weeks then switch me thinks.

A question for some one ... im thinking of sniping a few clones from the lower laterals, been reading a bit and the lower branches yeild less, do you think this is a good idea or could i do some thing else. i dont really have any dead line, the only issue would be ... do i have enough light for another 6 plants

are you wondering why the leaves are curling like that man, they are too close to the light... i dont know if you stated what watt HPS your using but stick with 2-3 feet with a 250, 3.5-4 with a 400/600 and 5-6 with a 1000w

600w hps is wayyyy too close... just read thats your wattage.. and yes its fine for 12 plants.. with a good reflector. i always clip the lower/"weakest" stems for cloning

also your ventelation is superb if your not getting yellowing, but seriously, move that light up and watch them grow. i knew there was something wrong with the age of these plants and their size.. your doing very well though... and dont take away light. add those flouros on the side or something... thats the beauty of light, if you have the space and can get rid of the heat, then you can just add, add, add onto the light. another thing is, although the temp doesn't seem/feel hot when you stick your hand under the bulb, just realize your not stayin under that light.. one thing i like to do, before i knew exactly what to do, is put my face(more sensitive skin) under the light near the plant.. if you feel hot then your plant is too hot. your plant will tell you everything its doing. when the leaves are curling down, the plant is trying to "get away" for that heat. it will not grow up anymore, this is why your plants are so short. its growth is stunted

dude thanks for the input ...was wondering about the curling on the tips ... was confusing me one girl went up one girl went down and one was depressed.
i repotted the depressed one the gave them a good flush.

Question for you guys- and yes i went a bought a moisture meter so much easier!!!!! ... well any ways is 2 litres of water every 2 days seem about right for watering?? these pots are about 37litres.

thanks loads for the info.... loving the grow process ... you guys are right about your first plants are like your babies. :)

Thanks dude!! feels good to know your heading in the right direction :)

These are bag seeds can anyone tell me what straines they are? all i can say is the 3 girls are all different. one with skinny leaves and purple tint to the top of branches; ones got huge leaves and the others a bit inbetween with a silvery colour???

Switched to 12/12 on the 15th.
Here's a few pics at day 3 flower.

it's hard to tell the strain at this point, wait until you have some bud shots to post, then i'm sure some of us will know what strains your working with :)
maybe. but i doubt it. the best we can probally do is tell you if its either sativa or indica dominant, and even that can be kinda sketchy cuz it could be a mix of the 2 and not very easy to tell.
looking good original poster. azzid, I like your attitude and trying to help. its refreshing to see people being nice to each other. nice job. +rep:peace:bongsmilie

they look indica btw. forgot to say that at first. indica is more bushy and shorter and also have wider leaves while the sativa is more lanky and tall and has skinnier leaves. they also take a month or 2 longer than indica to finish flowering usually.
