I look forward to Christmas as soon as it starts getting cold..my favorite holiday
Definitely think a lot about Jesus and my family.. I hate that Christmas was overtaken by gifts and santa....so yes what I will be thinking about when I wake up is simply love in its purest..will proceed to think about holding my wife by the fire smoking a blunt all joyous and then getting ready for family members to arrive..holiday type baked goods will fill the house with its aroma....I will play with new members of the family, a baby bout a month old by that time along with the other children..all the while remembering Jesus and god and all my blessings in life..we will sing a few Christmas carols and hymns..we then play a game, each person ends with one present and that's that..presents being unisex and what have you, aren't really focused on but the game and interaction in the family
We indulge on food and some alcohol to bring the family together that is otherwise uncomfortable in the new setting with those they don't see often..... that's pretty much my Christmas

After the 10 hr tolerance break from Mary Jane I will repeat the beginning..with the blunt...and may read a few Bible verses before bed to my girl

You don't need to "THINK" of Jesus for Jesus to be on your mind...
If you believe it's Christ's BD, then and if you believe Jesus is the son of God...
Then you don't need to think about it, it's just the reason for the season....

i just hate fake ass christians they are the worst , they put up blue flashing lights in november , you are only supposed to decorate church and home with red and green on christmas eve and take back down on christmas day , the green should be evergreens to show life carrys on through winter and after death and red berry or fruit to show the bllod jesus shed on the cross , all these other colours are just comercial .

i like it BUT why not do that 365
If i could spend 365 together with my family and friends know that i would, but they live far away, so do many of my friends now that we are all adults, with jobs, wives, families, children, obligations... it's hard to find time to spare when everyone is living out their own lives, with their own obligations.

The holidays are our excuse to badger and guilt trip our families and friends to take time away from their lives in order to find time to spend together.

The word "christmas" to me, and most of my family and friends, has nothing to do with religion, many of us have grown out of theological indoctrination and spiritual fantasy. "Christmas" to us means "get together with loved ones and share gifts, our appreciation for one another, and great food!"

Regardless of how people celebrate any holiday, i hope everyone gets to spend each one with someone they love.

Couldn't give a shit about that ragamuffin. More focused on family and food.

What has spending Christmas alone got to do with crack heads?

Unless we learn tolerance and acceptance for those who hold different customs and beliefs, this world will surely resolve back into the dark ages.

People believe some wacky shit. But we have to let them, we cannot convince them. If they aren't harming anyone, let them have their fantasy. This existence is hard, it's scary and it's painful, many people need to believe in fantasies in order to be happy in a world that is far from perfect.

Just as long as they aren't persecuting anyone else, don't persecute them.

If they are hurting others, encouraging others to do the same, if they are sexist or racist, if they persecute or oppress others, then that is the time to step in and call people out.

There is too much segregation and hate in this world already, i think it much more wise to refrain from contributing to it as much as you can.

Imo.
