I was also on Kessils site; they claim a 2x2 coverage for the 350's... so anyway after being clue'd in on Growershouse.com I vacillated between one 350 (w/free shipping) for $250 OR 2ea 150's for $200 (shipping incl) ... as I thought about it, the single 350 is a better long term value, but for just experimenting and flexibility I opted for 1ea Magenta, 1 ea purple...
again, probably not the optimal value, but for my auxiliary tent 2 lights are better than 1
Looks like you were able to take advantage of those prices, and save some money after all, I'm glad to hear that.
I hope the lights work out well for you, sir.

Cudda got them for $87 bucks...today is the last day tho..
they got a 5% discount thru today PLUS another %5 LED discount (can't recall, just do a search in a few forums using "weed" & Kessil 150, it will show up...I'm too lazy to find it again)

basically you can get 3ea 150's for under $300 incl shipping...arghhhhhhhh

Hi everyone! Just finished a grow and already looking to upgrade my nft system to led. My question is about Lush Led Lighting. They are a huge sponsor of kushington farms and I am really pleased with their 400w dominator. But I could not find anything online except for kushington farms. Does anyone have experience with this company/lights? How was your grow!

Thanks in advance!

Starting to feel bummed about my a51 led purchase. There is no number listed on the site and they aren't replying to my emails. No idea when or if my xgs-190 will ship. This is definitely not the customer service experience that others on this forum said I'd receive.

Sorry to hear this. Have you checked your spam folder? I know when I traded emails with them some got flagged as spam for some reason. Hope it gets sorted out for you

Has anyone bought the new Vortex S-Line fan yet? I just got one today. They are definitely badass.

I had a bad experience with Joyhydrogrow. They sent a UFO from Hong Kong and required a signature for delivery. The item was eventually returned to shipper since I wasn't able to be present to sign for the package. (Out of town and neighbor was checking my mail and deliveries.) Joyhydrogrow used delay tactics until I exceeded the time limit for eBay feedback. The item ended up being opened by US Customs. According to FedEx he instructed them to destroy the product. They just told me, "package destroyed as per customer request" as the status of the delivery. This spared him the cost of return shipping or reshipping to me. I'm out $97.00 and he's not refunding anything. I recommend doing business with someone else.

I'm sorry to hear that you got screwed over like that.
This is a perfect example for everyone else to learn from, there is a reason why we warn people on this site against buying LED lights off of Ebay.

OK replying directly to my a51 order confirmation got me a quick response.

So FYI to anyone else dealing with A51: If you want a response, skip the website contact form and just email the [email protected] address.
They always respond to me within a day if I send them an email, even if I just have a question. Jeff at A51 is a good guy and he won't BS you. I think they're probably really busy right now fulfilling all the orders for their XGS-190's.

Quietest fan I've ever used.

On full blast they are quieter than duct booster fans. Add a filter and speed control, you can't hear it over a small circulating fan on low.

I know we're straying from the topic here, however while we're discussing fans I'd like to recommend the Max Fans, which have a built-in speed regulator and run SUPER quiet. A 6-inch model will only set you back $140 (free 2-day shipping with Prime). On low (with cheap insulated ducting attached), this fan is quieter than the oscillating circulation fan I have in my grow room yet still moves plenty enough air to cool my 1000w HPS bulb.

I haven't heard the S-Lines yet, but I'm not sure they're worth the extra $60 when these Max-Fans are already super quiet. Keep in mind, no need to spend extra money on a speed regulator with this model either.

Amazon link to 6" Model

Only caveat is that the picture on Amazon is the 8" model. The 6" looks like this:

I Have Both And I Can Testifiy That The Can-Fan Is Not Even In The Same Ball Park As The Vortex. As Best That I Can Tell With My Old Azz Ears The TD-Silent 150 Is Still A Tad Bit Quiter Than The Vortex However I Do Have A TD-150 That Sometimes Make A Bering Noise And When This Fan Quits I Will Be Replacing It With The Vortex :peace:

IMO It'd have to be a LOT quieter for me to spend another $100 or so on the pricier model and a speed regulator. Wouldn't matter much to me in any case since it's already drowned out by my circulation fan--even still on #2 setting. The one thing I noticed is that any fans I've used with an external regulator tend to make terrible whining noises. I'm guess this is probably not an issue with the higher end units though.

Anyhow back to LED:

I plan to use the new XGS-190 I recently purchased over the following setup:

Strain
Squatty, kush-like strain (Possibly more Platinum Purple Kush, or something similar)
Flipped to flower at about 12-16" height

Media
36'"x24" DIY PVC scrog screen for canopy
2x 3-gallon RootMaker pots with 60/40 Coco/Perlite blend (considering 4 pots for a faster veg time)

Nutes
Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom (Using feed chart instead of bottle recs)
Full-strength CaliMag (1tsp/Gal)
Royal Gold till end of week 2 flower
Ton-O-Bud weeks 3&4
The Heavies (now called something else, but I can't remember--has a bomb on it) weeks 5-8

Does this sound like a solid setup for a single A51 XGS-190? FYI I already have all this stuff, so no plans to switch to a different media or nutrient atm. Plus I know how both those topics are ripe for endless debate anyhow. The main thing I want to know is if there are any concerns using that setup with the single XGS-190.
