No I haven't... this is my first run with feminised/mail seeds... I had a couple of runs before this one but they were all bagseed. I can't wait to see her flowering.

Day 20
W.W.
She is twice the size of the AutoSuperBud. She is loving the small dose of nutrients. Growing her 5/6th node. Started LST on her after the pictures where taken.

Smallest. Her first set of true leafs have a little nut burn on the tips. She didn't receive nutrients Yesterday.
Critical Kush Clones (fem.)
3rd day on humidity dome (remove the top for pics)... no root hormone on them (have done it before and still works just takes 1 more week than usual)
Humidity @ 75-85%
If you see a little curling of the leafs it might be the fisheye lens.
Took pictures of the setup/cabinet but the pictures keep showing sideways on the thread and I removed them...

Looking good man. You should try one or two of those clones in an all perlite hempy mate. I think you'll like it.

now you got me thinking... lol... I would try it if I had a place to get some perlite. A couple of months back I went crazy looking for good soils and what not and only found Miracle Grow... this place sucks! By this same reason is why I'm using CFL's too. Thanks for stopping by bro.

thanks stoner! Slowly but surely getting there. The first weeks are always the slowest/boring ones (patience isn't my virtue). Waiting for this lady to stretch, give me some shoots & start training her.

Nice looking plants you have there ima sub up and watch where this goes. You can normally find perlite at local farmer markets like co-op if you have one around. Normally they have miracle grow perlite in stock if not they can order it. I had to do the same as I live in a crappy area aswell. If you do decide to try hempy thought and you are able to locate perlite keep in mind that the MC brand has micro nutes in them. Stoneslacker gave me the advice of doing a rinse before using it.

I will try and find some perlite once the clones are rooted. thanks for the input, worst case will end up with MG's perlite. (not even sure if they sell it around here)

Day 25
Pictures in a couple of days.
- White Widow: Loving the LST, have a couple of under shoots reaching the main cola's height.
- Auto Super Bud: Showing her pistils already. H20 + 2/3 dose of nutrients Today, hope she reacts well to it.
- Critical Kush Clones: 1/4 showing roots so far. Only in 9 days. (no root hormone)

Couple of Q's related to the W.W. & SCROG:
-My screen is 8'' from the top of the pots, should I raise my lights a little to induce stretch? (the W.W. is about 5'' short of reaching the screen)
-Should I top/fimmed the 4-6 tops she has?
-Isn't she on the smaller size for 30days?
I know the LST is working wonders, but maybe I went too bushy with her for the scrog technique... at this growth rate, it will take me a couple of weeks to start training her under the screen + a couple of weeks to fill it. where can I buy some patience?

I usually top once and leave 4+ nodes below the top. This will leave you with at least one branch for each corner of the screen.
You want to make sure you keep those branches as horizontal as you can, and try to even them out not letting one get too much higher than the rest.
The secondary nodes on the branch arms will start to grow vertical and will each grow into another top. Just keep tying down the branch tips and direct the
new growth into open areas of the canopy.
She does look small for 30 days, but she looks healthy so may have a growth spurt soon.

I will leave this tops grow vertically for the next week(s) and see where she takes me. Once this 6 tops reach the screen I guess I will train them horizontally and use them to fill the screen. what you think? On a different note, I tried to find some perlite but mission was a failure... no hempy for now
going to check the pH & give her a good dose of nutrients next watering.

looking good md. mine was 60 days of all lst and topping every shoot to keep an even cannopy.
easiest way i have found was use paperclips linked together from branch to edge of pot.
just make sure to move around or they will grow into the stems.
i was gonna do an actual scrog but found this method easier all around except keeping tops 100% even in my small grow room.
if i had only vegged for 50 days i could have easily kept tops even.
but none the less looks great and figure out what works best for you.

thanks bob! I think she will end up veggin' for 50-60 days too. Currently @ day 34 and still haven't reach the screen's height. I haven't cut anything yet (top/fim), don't want to slow her down even more... don't know if this is a pheno thing or just something off on my grow. The Critical Kush clone are thriving as crazy tho.

since your plant is so short and bushy think moving the plant up an inch or 2 would fill your screen a week or 2 sooner.

only reason i say this is your plant is grown very close to the soil and not sure if i see the need for it to be at 8 inches.
more thinking out loud as i have never done a true scrog.

I'm with you on this one. She will grow "freely" this next week and see where she goes. I will probably end up raising the pot and adjusting the screen to her height by then. thanks once again bro! If you see anything else or have another idea feel free to comment.
